Discussion Baba has the lowest winrate on the highest and lowest MMR ranks.

This I was not expecting. She seemed strong at first I wonder why it's so bad.

She is harder to play than rat king. Ult is easy to cancel

My instincts constantly fuck up her ult. I have 1/3 chance of turning it off right after I activate it lol

I do this constantly with Venator, especially during chaotic fights (if you're stunned or dashing, etc). Just spamming 4 to use ult and then instantly cancelling it...

Ive done this so many times on dynamo. I get stunned, but I wanna ult so I start mashing, then I cancel it. Ive actually changed my cancel ability button to something else so that doesnt happen anymore

I tried to do that on Venator, but couldn't. Even if you set a separate/alternate "Cancel" button, 4 still cancels ult for some reason.

there is a setting specifically about recasting also cancel channels.

I now know what you're talking about. It's off by default and doesn't work for Venator.

It's the "Cancel with ability key" -toggle right below your ability keybind settings. Not that it matters because it's bugged and some abilities get cancelled even with it turned off.

Yeah, it's off by default, and it just makes it so you CAN cancel by clicking the ability again (which other people have with Dynamo/Krill). With Venator, it's kind of the opposite and that option doesn't apply to him

Might be worth posting on the forums that the setting doesn’t work for Ven tbh. That sounds unintentional.

I made ult cancel shift + space last year and never looked back because yeah, constantly dropping it by accident whenever the mental stack was high

I can't even cancel MoKrill ult without turning this on in the setting. Why not just turn it off?

Yeah, I used to do this a lot with Kelvin. I was checking settings yesterday and looks like you can turn off the "click ability's keybind to cancel", but I didn't test it yet

I was clicking it way to fast to get the full effect. While you can be stunned out of the ult, you can also just let it go without clocking anything and it will fire all on its own after it maxes out. So I run around as fats as I can getting bread crumbs on everyone and run away till it pops

Because its different for every character, sometimes they use the cancel button, sometimes they use the recast button and sometimes its a mouse button.

Yeah it's so crazy how rat kings ult is genuinely unstoppable but if you cough in a different lane from baba it ends hers

Yeah I've only played a couple of games as him, but he seems incredibly easy. And this is after his nerf, I can't imagine how easy he was before even that.

Actually only his ults passives was nerfed, his grenade and rat swarm were buffed, and if you weren't abusing the ult prior, you actually got a solid buff from the changes, yeah the ult was crazy, but it still spawns rats the same, still does insane damage on slam, still gives MS and DMG reduction, as someone who is quickly becoming a rat main, his swarm is actually busted with JUST Escalating Exposure

Then you havent run a Baba Melee build. Ground pounding while charging the ult is actually elite behavior.

honestly the low gravity is kind of insane with the legs so I think it's actually the play on her
