Craigslist blocked my Vax Post

For those not familiar with Craigslist, there is a “gigs” section where someone in need of a person or persons to provide a service can post odd jobs like moving, car repairs, cleaning, medical testing, modeling, landscaping, etc… I’ve used Craigslist for over a decade and have posted over 1000 gigs bc I own a service business and always need labor. You can post ANYTHING in Gigs and people will contact you. Even if it’s an impossible task and you’re offering zero dollars, people will still contact you. Sometimes it’s scammers but you will still get multiple responses. However, recently I posted in three cities (NYC, LA, Miami) asking people to tell me if they have given their child a vaccine and have seen any adverse reaction. I offered $1000 dollars and for the first time in history, I received zero responses… crickets. I then used VPN from multiple different computers and looked for the gig but it was not findable. I asked Claude, then ChatGPT to find it. They could not. It still showed active on my account… Craigslist shadow blocked it from being seen by anyone… Why would they do that?

You weren't providing a service. You can go on a forum and ask a question.

The terms of service say you can't post questions as an ad. That's what you did.

It was probably also flagged as being a scam....as nobody in their right mind is offering $1000 for answers they can get for free, very easily.

And from an automated computer point of view you're offering money to find out details on kids. Very operation yewtree.

That’s not how gigs work. I don’t provide the service as the poster. The person responding provides the service.

Would you really expect honest stories in those cases?

Should dishonest posts be allowed on Craigslist?

Craigslist gets a lot of fake posts. They are able to spot a dishonest person very quickly.
