The disrespect coming from the pro-vaccine crowd to deny us the right to refuse torments me. I disagree that vaccines are a viable tool for preventing communicable diseases, so if vaccines have questionable effectiveness against viral infection they also have questionable effectiveness in viral outbreak management.

You always have the right to refuse. Nobody is strapping you to a chair and forcing you to be vaccinated. The government and public health agencies do have a duty to use data and evidence to protect as many of their constituents as possible.
If you cannot be incentivized or you are willing to deal with the consequences of being unvaccinated, then congratulations. You are willing your values and living by your beliefs.
I am curious how you arrived at your conclusions, because the plethora of evidence suggests that some viruses can be well controlled with vaccination efforts.

You can refuse. Just stay home.

Punishment for refusal means you can’t refuse.
•

That punishment is what?
•

Being barred from working certain jobs, barred from traveling and going to school.

You don’t like private businesses setting their own conditions for employment? I suppose you think a dress code is fascist.

Conspiracy theorists aren’t a protected class, junior. The world doesn’t have to cater to your delusions.

Absolutely no one has said you don't have the right to refuse. The choice is yours. And you have the right to believe that they don't prevent disease, DESPITE the volumes of evidence from around the world that says otherwise.

If we had the right to refuse there would be no requirements for the army, healthcare work, traveling, schools or the like. It’s disrespectful to punish people for doing whats best for their health, plenty people can’t get vaccinated for documented medical reasons.

It is well known that there are legit medical exemptions which are verified by an MD. There are always medical exemptions for the specific vaccine that causes the issue.
