DOS1 Help Randomly taking damage?

Coming on here to see if anyone else has encountered this. Me and my partner are playing the first Divinity game couch coop and notice that our characters and companions randomly take damage. I’ll move from the bed after sleeping full health and notice that my health bar is maybe 80% or fast travel and my companions health decreases. Health is already difficult and it’s a bit frustrating eating all our food because we’re trying to heal up fully before a fight since the sand man sprinkled 20 pts of damage in our eyes 😅.

This a known bug or am I crazy?

I don’t believe so. We’re only level 5, and it’s been since the beginning of the game it’s been happening.

Hmm check your status on character page maybe, I'm not super knowledgeable I'm only at the end of act 2 I believe. Also start up some theivery on one of your characters you'll never need or always have gold, potions food in whatever you want :)

Thank you for the advice! It happens on all of our characters, which is what is strange. I think it might be a bug. I could leave my character in town, go to the bathroom, come back and have health missing. We must all have the flu BAD lol

Hey. Im little bit late here, but it could be caused by Inspiration (or how is that party buff called) when you lose it, so some % mixup happens and it looks like you lost some hp?

Anyway I would recommend getting skill that can heal you. Wither warfare 1st aid or hydro restoration spell. I wouldnt rely on food or sleep
