DOS2 Help Summoner questions

Playing for not quite the first time(gotten to act 2 before quitting once before) and my main character is doing Summoner and I want to get all the summoning spells. Do I need the Red Prince in my party in order to get to the place where you can unlock the Summon Dragonling spell?

No, I don’t think so. You need to be a lizard and breathe fire on the egg. This can be done with the mask of the shapeshifter. You also need to persuade the dragonling to join you which requires a persuasion of at least 4.

I think he does need to have the Red Prince, because in order to HAVE a dragonling, the Red Prince need to do the princess in act 2 or 4 if missed in 2.

Can confirm. Just did a no red prince run and there was no egg.

Good point. I’ve always had RP in my party, mainly for the XP of the assassins after him, so I never had the issue of no egg.
