Have a non-TnG suspension? Read this.

If you’re not happy with the fixed spring ride in the non-TnGs like I am, get a fitness sandbag and fill it up with 100lbs of sand. Put it over your rear axels.

The load leveling rear shocks tend to top out and make the ride more harsh when the trunk is empty. Putting some weight over it really smooths things out.

I’m realizing a lot of people probably don’t have this issue because they’re hauling gear or at least some type of weight in the back. With 2 small kids I don’t have a lot of gear to move around yet but the weight permanently in the back has made me happy enough to keep my car instead of turning it in for a TnG.

This is with stock ecopias. Im sure there’s an even bigger difference with proper rubber.

Aftermarket Racetrack Light Replacement? Recommend

I know a lot of us are dealing with this crappy racetrack light part but all posts I’ve read for replacing the bad light talk about getting the dealership part. Has anyone gone aftermarket? What brand did you get and what’s been your experience with it? $1,400 for a replacement is absurd, especially for a part that’s going to crap out again in 5 years.

VVT Issues and Misfiring

After a good 7 years with my 2019 Durango GT, I’m having issue after issue with it, and don’t know what to do. CEL on, getting P0300 and other codes, random misfires. Power is way down from what it used to be, and I sometimes get white smoke from the tailpipes on a cold start. I took it to a shop, and paid $600 for diagnostics, oil change, and some BG additives. Drove it away and all the same problems came back within 2 minutes. Please help!

P0401 Code

I’ve been dealing with a P0401 code on my 2020 GT for a couple months now. I’ve tried cleaning the ports and changed the EGR valve and the code still comes back on. Has anyone dealt with this code before? Should I take it to a shop?

Heater Hose Failure question

Hey all. Considering a 26 or 27 Durango V8 but I’ve seen a lot of complaints on the heater hose failure. I’d like to try and understand how widespread this is. Any first experience you can provide would be helpful!

And is this only an issue for the v8? While I prefer the 5.7 I would be perfectly happy with the 3.6, especially if it affords more peace of mind.
