Food shelter or food bank??
My sister (28F native American English speaker) is insisting that “food shelter” is an interchangeable term for “food bank.” Everything I google brings back results for “food pantry” or “food bank” and completely excludes “food shelter” from results (which makes absolute sense to me). She insists that she heard it in Tennessee when she lived there for a couple years. I really think she’s confused and thinking of a soup kitchen, food pantry, homeless shelter, or food bank. I’d really like to get to the bottom of this.
