My son’s circus themed first birthday cake

EDIT: I should have clarified in the original post, I am not complaining about the cake at all! I loved it and the baker did a fantastic job

Ordered charcuterie cups for a work event from a Toronto event caterer and this is what I got….

@gloria.catering

Edit: I was blocked on all their accounts when I wrote an honest review. just wanting to warn others about this company so they don’t get duped like I did. And these were photos from THEIR PAGE of THEIR work. I did not supply them with these photos. THEY HAD IT ON THEIRS AS THEIR WORK.

I specifically asked if they could make this design before ordering and they said absolutely 😭

It’s so ugly 😭

What we reserved vs what we got in this hotel. The name is Spring House Resort in Desert Hot Springs, CA. STAY AWAY FROM HERE

Expectation vs Reality huhuhu

I want to give a honest feedback but I wanna know your thoughts here 😂

Product image vs review photo

(I did not order this)

Why even use it to generate pictures of food if you’re not going to at least attempt to make it look like the picture? Is this not false advertising? Spent $34.

Edit to add:

I knew I wasn’t going to receive anything close to the picture. I was tired, hungry, just got off a 13 hour shift, and it was the only place open within walking distance to the hotel I’m at. I understand how advertising works in the food industry. I still fucking hate AI and that’s what this post is about.

They look like turtles that got ran over 😭

Once I saw the sticker image on the box I knew what was about to be seen. 😭

It was supposed to be full of Vodka too..

I thought this was a cute as heck idea, but gosh was he anatomically incorrect. Plotted him on graph paper and Bam!

Edit, to be clear this was a pattern for sale on Etsy that I found while scrolling and decided to make for myself from scratch.

As the title says, my mom recently ordered these shirts thinking they were super cute. Unfortunately, they came in looking a bit different than pictured and she wanted me to share… 🤣

*edited to add*

Believe me when I say, she learned her lesson to not trust the images and to also be careful shopping on sites like that. She typically knows, but like most people who make mistakes, she fell for it this time. We were cracking up about other expectations vs realities posts so she thought it would be funny to put her experience on here and give any possible laughs to others over it.

Also, yes, I agree that I don’t think it’s SHEIN and it’s bad to buy from there. But I didn’t look myself, she just sent the photos to me. 😭

*edit 2*

I asked to see what it was from and it is NOT SHEIN, it’s sheen… A website called sheenplace. Still, all images are AI lmao and she won’t be buying anything else from there.
