Question❓ How to go see the flowering desert

We are traveling in Chile and are currently in Temuco, we are wondering what is the best part to go to and how. We intend to go by bus and are willing for it to take a few days to get there

Please don't step in the flowers to take a picture, if you want to see them take your distance

That would be a 2000+ km bus journey... Take the bus to Santiago but then fly to Calama or so.

Temuco is very far away. You need to go near Copiapo

Hi, I'm from Copiapó. You can take an airplane to Copiapó from Santiago, and take tour, or rent a car in agencys and follow the routes. NEVER step on the flowers, or pass with the vehicle there, there´s a lot of local fauna and it's a fragile ecosystem. If you want to know more from Copiapó, just DM me.

Note: From Santiago to Copiapó there are 12 hours in bus. In airplane around 1.30 hours
