First time buyer 2014 advice

Hey I’m looking at a 2014 st. It’s been really cared for, older woman that has all service records and bought it in 2015 from a dealership.

Cons: it has 153500 miles. I don’t love the tangerine color

Price: $7k

Pros: super clean, well maintenance, stock.

Worth buying? It drove great and was super fun!

Tangerine Scream is the best color

I don’t love the mileage. I think you could spend a little more and get one under 100k.

But there’s not many unmodified STs out there.

Thanks! I don’t love it either. Hoping it’d give me a few fun years driving around town and better mpg than my truck. Not many unmod or clean titles under 12k

7k should be ok, maybe can go down depending on what KBB says.

Most likely some maintenance is overdue, since most folks will only do oil changes and brake pads so I would plan to do the following eventually.

Spark Plugs,

Trans Fluid,

Coolant Flush,

Diff Fluid,

Walnut Blast,

Check the motor mounts,

Check if clutch has been replaced recently

It was likely babied and granny shifted so there's a good chance it didn't have some annoying bubble tune or was driven hard.

Yeah it’s in the KBB ball park. It was recently listed and has interests so 7 is the lowest I’ll get,

Yes the brakes and rotors were all replaced recently. Tires are a couple years old. Clutch is original.

It has definitely been grannied and all the service records so I’ll look through for spark plugs and trans flush. If I get 2-3 years of fun as my daily driver around town I’ll be pretty happy. Plus already gets double my mpg than my truck.
