Ford ranger sync swap to focus st?

[u/sightstrikes]

My dad has a 2016 ford ranger and he recently swapped in a android system and now his old sync system is lying around. I was wondering If I can replace my 2013 focus st system with the ford ranger one and then just get a surround that fits the ranger sync? Would it be compatible or are they completely different systems?
