The gameplay in all of these games is nothing to write home about, but for me Hellraiser killed it with a consistently killer sense of aesthetic, and a really dope dark story. It definitely got more of a reaction out of me than either of the other 2. And it’s only $40 vs $70

Haven't seen one of these since I was inside a McDonald's years ago but those had N64s inside of them.

Still remember the hundreds of hours I put in replaying BG3 and RDR2 just to get those 100%. It was actually a horrible experience tbh but the impulse pushed me through the grind over the course of a few months. Luckily I had holidays to spend doing stupid shit like this. Any other masochist out there who just had to go all the way to satisfy this sadistic itch?

I only played Control 1, Quantum Break and playing Control 2 right now but the way they placed songs around the game is SO GOOD.

The TAKE Control - Old God's of Asgard in Control 1 is one of the best scene in all my gaming history!

I’m trying to recapture some of the magic I felt with certain games I enjoyed when I was younger. For some reason, Viva Piñata is one of those games - is there anything similar out there? I’ve heard Pokopia is maybe what I’m looking for, but I don’t have a Switch 2 (yet). Any suggestions are appreciated!

Just recently played God of War 3 after getting into the OG Greek God of War games since I was a fan of the new Norse God of War duology, and holy moly is this one of the best video game intro sequences I've ever seen.

I was just thinking about long war for x-com(though the base game is already great) and it made me curious if there are any games out there that are bad on their own but saved and turned great due to a mod that changes it for the better. I was thinking more so about large expansion mods but any example would be nice.

PlayStation 2 was my last PlayStation console.

Dreamcast is Coming!

I think the Far Cry 5 soundtrack is worth a listen even if you have never played the game. Dan Romer is probably better known for his TV and movie work but to me he's the Far Cry guy. It's the only game where I actually enjoyed waiting at the main menu & the loading screens and it was because of the music.

Edit: Thanks, looks like I've got a reason to check out some games I've never played before

Now that Sin Reloaded has been released, you think that's any of the others will come to Xbox Play Anywhere?

I love it and I'm looking forward to thief remastered. You think they would do System Shock,System Shock 2 25th anniversary, and the Turok 1-3? Oh and dark forces?
