People assuming things about you.

Ok so I haven't interacted with people in public settings for a *long* time so I don't know whether this is me forgetting it happens as frequently in real life or if this is something that happens from the protection or distance of a keyboard...

But I get really miffed when people take a few words or things you've stated and build this whole story of who are from it? And are so sure enough to relay these things as if they're fact?

I used reddit as a form of interaction with people because I generally don't in real life so I'm not sure if this is a 'here' or 'internet' thing, but within the last few days alone I've been called labelled racist (for questioning a TV shows differing treatment of certain people), lazy for discussing some things my disability stops me doing, inferred that I'm exaggerating my disability because I was able to use public transport (they even assumed & said 'independently' which not only wasn't stated but also isn't true) & have no ability to self reflect when I've been in & out of therapy most of my life...

This is such an irk to my because how do people convince themselves they know so much of life's variables they've got everyone read? How do people think they know my life story from a sentence or paragraph or two?

Because they are ah’s, i deal with the same/similar situations so much that i have resigned myself to being a “shut in” only leaving the house to go to dr and dentist, i only drive when i have to, in which i haven’t driven in at least 6 months.

You cant let the world win and keep you locked away not wanting to interact, its not good for mental health. I say that because I've been there and know the feeling & we have to accept life and people and people being mean/nosey/ignorant & stapling in our mind to not take it personally because as many people that can suck there is as many people that can turn your day around your mindset to positive or people that can show you there's just as many good people as not so good people. I kinda rambled.

Thanks, i ramble as well, but after i had to quit work because of my disabilities, i would stop in occasionally on my old overnight shift to chat with former associates, every one of the told me if i need anything, just give them a call, i thanked them, and said that all i need is friendship and gave some that i was closest to, my phone number, but didn’t get any numbers back, been 20+ years, not one phone call of “how are ya?”, nothing, like i didn’t even matter. My personal theme song from the 1970’s is “Back Stabbers”.
Been alone for so many years, i wouldn’t know what to do if anybody even pulled into my driveway, let alone receive a phone call, destined to spend life alone no interaction except for my dogs.
