Resource Free browser tool for practicing scales, chords & progressions with theory notes right next to it (feedback welcome

I play guitar by ear and wanted a simple place where I could see scales/modes, play progressions, look up chords, and have the theory explanations right there without switching tabs.

So I built TonusLab: open it in the browser, pick an instrument (guitar, bass, ukulele, piano) and key, and practice. Includes circle of fifths, chord diagrams, tuner, voice monitor, and 29 theory chapters from beginner to more advanced topics.

Completely free, no accounts, no install, no streaks.

Built it for myself and left it open in case it’s useful. Any feedback is very welcome.

Looks great. One small change I might make is a small highlight of the root of the mode as its moving through chords. And maybe a togglable way to enable high lighting of notes that differ because of the mode. For instance, of we're in C and goto the G on the V, I can play just regular G major scale licks note for note EXCEPT for the F#. Because we are in C that F# flat ting to the F so it's in C is a huge deal and is the difference between a lick that sounds pro vs. amateur.

Does that make sense?

But, as we move through mode I'd be nice to see a moving highlight of the root of which ever chord while maintaining the root scale on screen. And by moving I don't mean blinking from here to there as the chord changes, but actually starts to slide across the screen early so it meets the new mode root at the same time as the chord changes.

Great app, thanks for sharing
