Forgotten Island is an adventure movie about two friends (Jo and Raissa), who are about to be separated since one of them will study abroad, being transported to Nakali. Escaping this magical island might mean sacrificing their memories of each other.

It only came out domestically on the 25th. I hate how several posts are already condemning it as a box office bomb/disappointment, and I hate that these kinds of posts get so much traction. This is a baffling amount of pessimism for an animated movie.

Right, the movie that's JUST come out is a certain flop. The movie that's not even out yet in certain territories until October. Yup, definitely /s

The same people saying this movie is DOA would've said the same about Puss in Boots The Last Wish, which also struggled at first. Yes despite Way of The Water and storms getting in the way, strong WOM helped it become a massive critical and commercial hit. Given its directors are the minds behind Forgotten Island, I'm hoping it will similarly bounce back.

Yeah okay, it had minimal advertising. Sure, some of the trailers looked childish. You think Forgotten Island is the first movie to have such marketing issues? Several people who watched the movie are also saying it's surprisingly mature, deep and emotional. I'll certainly see this movie and see if they're right.

Let's wait and see before we call this a definite bomb (and, preferably, see the movie in theatres).

The Internet has straight up, taken the identity of being a feminine male and just turned into porn. It’s legitimately depressing that all I have to do to find pornographic content of femboys is just look up the word nothing after it no, not safe for work no specific shit just the fucking word and honestly same thing with trans. I hate the fact that a whole ass identity has been turned into a fetish and so has most of the community around it. It’s why a majority of the memes were revolving around femboys are so sexual. I also hate that the most popular creators like Linechu have basically just spay their entire personality being a sexual degenerate and it feels like a lot of it is because of creepy weird chasers. Like these people don’t see feminine men or trans women are anyone they are sexually attracted to as humans they see us as living porn and it’s just so fucking tiring.

These are also the same people that can’t accept trans people exist, and that sometimes femboys become trans women or that their favorite “femboy” character that they only really care about because they jerk off to them is actually trans. They cannot accept it and I just fucking despise these people because they have turned being just a feminine person into a fetish and they only pretend to care about feminine males when in reality, they only really care about them because they get bricked up at them existing. It’s disgusting and I genuinely hate what they have done. I can’t understand the concept of seeing a another breathing human being as just something to jerk off to. It’s weird and creepy and gross.

First of all the art is extremely ugly and even uglier when it’s trying to replicate and anime style. The plot is unoriginal as hell but even with it you can create something good so why did the author make it so shitty?

I read until the 16th chapter hoping for something to tell me that it was going to get better but it didn’t and it sucked. The main character’s a weak crybaby with an abusive uncle that’s like nuts or whatever and he uses vr as an escape. Idk how old the mc is but the dialogue is super corny and not realistic at all, bro met a guy and two days later tells him « sometimes i wonder what is hidden by the masks that we create to protect ourselves » and like in a situation it could’ve been good, great even. But not when it’s said by a character drawn with weak ass squiggly lines, basic color, wrong proportions and badly drawn emotions.

Stop being so whimsical with strangers my god, you’re being cringe right now. And the characters are badly written as well, the uncle’s really just here to make you pity the mc, and i literally dont care if i just read to the 16 chapter and whether or not it makes me a plausible judge because everything sucks, form the dialogue to the writing to the story.

Anyone other Americans wish they were born in any other country so you wouldn't have to deal with what's going on in this shit show of a country?

I cannot be the only one who thinks this. To be honest, I wouldn't doubt if their editors made sure any and all posts/comments have been taken down; however, I love Good Mythical Morning and almost everyone involved. Yet, for some reason, they insist on CONSTANTLY giving Stevie too much air time. Im sorry... She's not funny, she's not entertaining, and she treats the two guys who got her the job she has like children. Without them she'd be jobless. I'm not trolling nor trying to hate, I just cannot be the only one who thinks she does NOT need her own show.
