A couple is weeks ago I was lucky enough to come across a FREE first generation 10gal Anvil Foundry on Facebook Marketplace (free because the plug was broken and the owner upgraded to a larger system). After rewiring it, testing it, and giving it a good deep cleaning, I just had to take a picture of it next to my second generation Anvil Foundry. It was really neat to see in person where Anvil made little tweaks and upgrades to the design.
I later took it to a homebrew club meeting (Brewers of Paradise - Paradise, CA) and gave it to one of the members who is wanting to get back into brewing and upgrade to electric at the same time. It was fun seeing this usually stoic individual smile and get excited about the posibilities this second-hand system will bring.
