Comic book debates always end up here. Someone brings up a giant cosmic feat, someone else points to a fistfight, and suddenly we're comparing completely different situations as if they happened under identical conditions. "Black hole far away, Thragg close" is unironically a better explanation than half the power scaling threads I've seen.

I've seen lots of people say they believe thraag has wind control powers in addition to the standard super strength, speed and healing, though I thought him pulling back for the punch simply sucked in the nearby air , kinda like how a sinking ship sucks people under as it goes beneath the surface.

Black hole are so built up in our culture people don't really understand them at all. I was having this discussion with my friends that as i understand it if our sun collapsed into a black hole tomorrow the orbit of our planet around it would not change. Everybody just thinks a black hole automatically becomes super massive immediately and swallows up everything within light years of it. The event horizon of our sun in black hole form would be like 3km.
