Wikipedia is trash. There are bots but also people who are super editors who just go to town on these pages everyday. They write into them crap and then defend that crap from edits. Our future online is not good

The Wikipedia workflow seems flawed. It’s strange that an editor can single-handedly change any page just because they feel like it. There should be a review system, and should involve more people in suach a review when a page with higher than usual visits is being edited.

The way wikipedia works just seems like pure bureaucracy hell. If you ever looked at talk pages, you'd realize they fit the definition of a fedora-tipping ultra redditors.

I'd settle for some review process of banned editors' edit history. There were a lot of people recently that been banned specifically for this type of behavior, but their edits are still up there and are still protected by Wikipedia policy.

Wikipedia is such a bunch of shit. They said on the Oct. 7 article that it happened due to the 'famine' in Gaza at one point.

This what happens when an entire community decides to allow Al Jazeera full credibility on I/P, while banning Israeli sources due to "bias".

The stupid thing is that it's against their own policies to use AJ in articles about this conflict (apparently on other topics it's okay, while the History Channel is completely banned because of their alien stuff; Nice to see how consistent they are), yet they still do.

It's one of those cases where instead of expressions like "he was shot to death" they say "he died of a sudden and acute lead poisoning", only it's anti-Israel. No surprise there...

Like the absurd wikipedia page for Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon that used to have his location of death as “Lebannon” (he died in the Columbia disaster)

That page still has a ridiculously detailed explanation of how he “Hebraizied” his last name, in the first section on the page.

Wikipedia needs to be sued for false advertising. It's not a real encyclopedia.

Look at the recent flag change on the 'Houthis' article

They don't even try to hide who they're standing with anymore. Thankfully the Wikipedia in my language still has the actual Houthi flag.

Is there any meaningful way to either have a standardization only to quality contributors on wiki? Or if that’s not a remote option, to instead just have a petition or some other formal process to boycott or take it down? I’m sure wishful thinking
