Did you like the theme of self-love, how it was tied to defense, and how it was seen as a necessary condition to love others? Did you like how it was the Okamas and Ivankov (the fucking QUEEN) who taught this lesson? I am not part of the LGBTQ community but I know it must be hard to persist as yourself when a lot of the world just wants to deny your existence. So learning to love yourself must also mean resisting such a world.
