The ABS control box is bricked and I was quoted waaay more that I wanted to spend on repairs. Sad to see her go.

Pretty happy with the spec of my recent purchase (great car enjoying it massively) but toying with some mods. The stripes on the bonnet are non-negotiable, I'm 100% getting them very soon (always feel a Cooper should have the stripes) but toying with the idea of wrapping the front bumper area satin black. I think it's quite an aggressive look love to hear others opinion. I'd need satin headlight surrounds to match, and possibly side rails too.

Came across a F55 same color, not S, and only 1 stripe. Now I just need to find one without stripe to complete the set!

Previous owner left some scratches on the gauge cluster - instead of buffing it I was recommended to put PPF on it. I got the glossy one instead of the matte film and really liking the enhanced clarity on the screen so far (oh yeah and the scratches are invisible)

Chester is a 2016 Countryman S ALL4. I believe the oil all came out of the dipstick tube. No CEL. I've been told PCV valve and get a catch can. Community thoughts?

Just bought a JCw u25 countryman. Loving it so far, dealer gave me a set of all seasons, I’m trying to buy a set for winter. Got a really nice deal on an Audi set up and was wondering how the tpms works for u25, do I need to recalibrate? Will it automatically adjust on its own? What aftermarket sensors work for the countryman?

Hello, i bought an r56 cooper s recently, and i noticed that my left headlight is always pointing to the left, exept if i turn right or put in reverse, in that case they go to center, the right one works fine, just the left one does this, i know my stearing angle sensor is ok because i check that recently and i also already adjusted my headlights with the engine running and the stearing wheel center

Hello everyone. Been working on some things for my R53 to make it my daily. My next task is getting to the bottom of this creaking noise. It sounds like a mount or some suspension piece and only happens under initial acceleration. Engine is purring along well and healthy and the transmission is crisp. I recorded the video in my driver's foot well because that's where it's the noisiest and I can also physically feel it where my feet rest.

Ignore the slight clutch pedal squeak lol.

Hello, I recently acquired a Clubman 1.5 136 Canonbury and would like to buy a JCW-style exhaust tip but I’m not sure which one to choose or what size to get., but I’m not sure which one to choose. Here is a photo of the car; for reference, the current exhaust tip is chrome.

My new to me f56 did not want to self center the steering wheel, it felt weird and wanted to hold steering input.

Found a service plan to relearn end stops, added it to my app, much better now! It's surprising it was not triggering a fault of any kind..

Hey peeps I got a question. Like the description says I have a 2016 mini Cooper F 55 base and I periodically lose heat as an example this weekend. I had heat in the car Friday Saturday Sunday but this morning I had no heat in the vehicle temperature gets up to normal, but I have cold air blowing through the vents. I wonder if anybody else has had this problems

Giovedì facendo un test drive l’auto sembrava ottima, senza rumore né di catena e ne problemi nel mangiare olio, post passaggio di proprietà andando verso casa la mia ragazza mi fa notare che l’auto ha prima cacciato una fumata nera e poi tutte le volte che acceleravo un po’ di più o facevo una ripartenza in prima, usciva un po di fumo bianco.
L’ho usata fino ad oggi e mi sono accorto che appena va su di giri caccia delle nubi di fumo bianco denso grosse, con odore misto tra olio bruciato e miscela di un 2t.
Qualcuno mi sa dire se ha avuto lo stesso problema e quale potrebbe essere la soluzione?

I have an F55 2017 Mini Cooper, and I wanted to upgrade it with CarPlay. I reached out to one seller that sells MMI boxes, sent them a couple of images like they asked for, and they told me I have the NBT version.

I ordered the NBT one, and when it arrived I tried to connect it, but the screen stayed black when I turned on the engine. Connecting the power directly to the screen (like before) kept working. I then noticed the power connector I got looks a tiny bit different, and then I looked at the original box in my car, and it clearly said EN2 (EntryNav2). I contacted the seller and they insist I have NBT, and though I’m confident they are mistaken, I’d like to have a confirmation from you guys just to make sure I’m not crazy haha.

In the past two years more than 1/3 of new minis are EVs. Its up to 37% in 2026. I expect this number to edge up to 50% in the coming years. And as Mini bringing SE production back to germany, we could see some sales in the US.

Is this a normal idle sound for an f56 after some somewhat spirited driving?

Bonus question is it normal for the auto to be a bit grunty/rough (not jerky) if pulling/accelerating from low revs?
