This is beautiful.

However, it's hitting pretty close to home, and we haven't had the luck these folks experienced... so, there's some envy at play.

Fuck it, right?! Here's to them!

I have experienced this twice and then weeks later lost the baby. We are still trying, but another positive test won’t make us happy like this as you never know what will happen. Chemical pregnancies and miscarriages are more common than people think.

It’s sad, and probably stems from my trauma, but when I see videos like this, I feel more scared for them than happy. Don’t want anyone to experience pregnancy loss.

Yeah I feel this way too. And I was lucky - literally first try we got pregnant. But I was never giddy and excited. Maybe it's my healthcare background, maybe it's my super pragmatic nature, but until they pulled baby boy out of me I didn't believe everything was okay. It's so, so early when you test like this, losses are so common.

I feel this. With me and my wife, We tried for a year or so (They were early 30's I was late 30's at the time so not the most ideal conditions) We lost several. We decided that We would stop trying and it just wasn't meant to be. About a month later, They come in and tell me they are pregnant. My actual response. "Great. Here we go again" theirs was about the same. We fortunately found a fertility clinic near by that was able to get them some progesterone and make sure we made it past those first few months. Then we found out he (the baby) had a defect and things were going to be dicey the whole pregnancy, And they were. 9.5 months of egg shells.

I am pleased to announce. After a pretty rocky birth and 2 surgeries. We have a happy and healthy now 2 year old son. Sometimes when you least expect it. It comes around. Usually after a metric butt load of heartache.

Congratulations, Im so pleased your ending was a happy one. It's so hard- you want to be excited but there's such a risk at any moment itll end in heartbreak

I spent my whole pregnancy worried like that, especially since we had neighbors who lost their baby at the very end, shortly bed I got pregnant. When my son was born, I just started crying with relief that he was there.

It's horribly vulnerable to just.. not know. It's a medical issue but it's so profoundly emotional it often gets forgotten for that
