Question Cell Service Coverage

Anyone notice poor cell service with Rogers? Frequently I have full bars and nothing loads or I get SOS mode in the city.

I get better service with 1 bar in BC than full bars anywhere in Manitoba

They're finding new and innovative ways to reduce their entire network from marginal-at-best down to practically zero. It's kinda amazing to witness, and also sad. And frustrating. I wonder what their end-game is envisioned to be?

Charge ppl on how much network bar they give you. Rogers sucking Canadians dry.

I’ve been going crazy with this thinking it’s my phone going bad. 3 bars LTE but nothing seems to load. Sometimes a restart helps.

Yep happens all the time for me. Hell I had better service flying a plane from up north back to Winnipeg passing the two or three new towers a few years ago. I can’t even what a video will at the gym in the city now without it freezing

Glad to know it's not just me. IPhone 17 with iOS 27.0.1. Thought maybe it was an iPhone glitch or moving off of wifi to cellular was the culprit. Sometimes toggling airplane mode on and off helps, sometimes restart helps, sometimes neither

I'm w Fido (Roger's towers) and consistently have 2 bars on LTE when I'm out and about, and in my apartment as I type it's on one bar. I've also been having an issue w dropped calls

I've heard this is an issue w both Rogers and Bell MTS though... I think my wife and I are waiting for her cell contract to come up, then switching to Freedom, which I'm unsure will solve the connection or calling issues, though at least we wouldn't be paying $65 a phone 😵
