I have a spare copy of Metroid Dread Special Edition that I'm thinking of selling.
Everything is new in box (the game, steelbook, art book, and art cards), though the box itself has been opened and a little beat up around the edges.
Original MSRP was $89.99 USD but eBay prices are all over the place.
My question is: what do you all think is a fair price if I were to list it for sale? What would you pay?
I'm not trying to scalp the game, I want a Metroid fan to get a good deal.
EDIT:
Thanks for the thoughtful replies. I did end up selling it peer-to-peer to ensure an actual fan received it, and they didn't have to pay extra to offset platform seller fees.
On the scalping thing, I should've been more clear that I meant I didn't want to sell it at a price that a scalper would try to get. I know it's a collectible item, which typically means it goes up in value over time.
But with all the justified vitriol toward the practice of scalping, renewed by what's happening with the Ravenous special edition, I wanted to gauge what the community here thought would be fair in this climate of scalpers ruining the resale experience trying to buy Metroid games.
Thanks again!
