Discussion Possible handshake glitch?
Disclaimer: Not a damaged monitor as I said before it only does this when waking from sleep so, not breaking rule 4 as the monitor is working perfectly fine other than these last two incidents. Just not sure if this is what is happening or not.
Second time this has happened on my new monitor and it always seems to be if something graphical is running while the monitor is waking from sleep. I'm new to monitor gaming I've settled with my old led tv for a very long time but recently updated my gpu to a AMD XFX Quicksilver 9070 OC so I wanted to get a monitor that could make better use of the card. Monitor is the KTC 32 Inch Curved Gaming Monitor 2K 180Hz (OC 185Hz) 1500R. Turning the monitor off and on again seems to rectify it so that is what leads me to believe its a handshake glitch.
Not sure what else to include, again I am new to all this high definition gaming stuff please be kind.

Have you even attempted a different cable ? Different port ?
One issue is energy saving mode or even a hardware defect in the monitor

Did purchase another cable, was using the one it came with since generally that is what most people do. Can switch it out and see if it happens again but its not that frequent. Should I change the default power saving mode to something a bit longer before it goes into sleep mode?
