(For ppl wanting to know how to get this, you know how you can pick up your poogi, you walk around with it in your arms until you find a spot where the poogi starts jumping up in your arms and then when you put it down you get items. Well I got it throu that, it's not the only costume you can get throu that.)

This is like the 3rd quest I have where a hunt lasts like 2-3 min and sucks all the fun of hunting a monster. I had a Xeno jiva last story mission just kind of get rolled over and I didnt even get to experience the fight at all. I wasn't even SOS hunting and a player basically one shotted it.

Im getting tilted by the behavior. Why go into HR with end game gear just to play the game for like 2 min, its just kind of wack for everyone involved.

I also want to share SOS investigations for others to get their mats but if you show up with your fatalis set and one shot the monster I dont ever want to SOS again. Please man T-T

Bazelgeuse, to be quite frank, sucks.

I like monster fights, they spice things up and I'm sure part of the reason for his addition was to try and keep things interesting during high rank, which a lot of is just normal, but...again.

(I know there are those that would say just rush it and come back when I'm stronger, but I want to do my fighting when it actually matters.)

He's just incredibly disruptive, carpet bombing, screaming matches, and he's EVERYWHERE. I feel like I can rarely go on a hunt without him showing up once, sometimes twice.

I've been farming Odogaron for what feels like forever trying to get another damn gem and Bazelgeuse just ruined my last 2-gold reward by catching me off guard during a single faint quest.

Well, rant over. Back to the hunt!

EDIT: Thank you to those who mentioned Dung pods! I didn't realize how strong they were until I got to Elder Recess, and it didn't even cross my mind they would work on this dude.

Hello! newbie here on world. I decided to play again and trying all the weapons but now I actually enjoying LS. The sheath is so cool. My fellow LS hunters can you please give some tips and guides regarding on LS. My main concern is how to charge my sword quick and how to parry. but other tips regarding on LS is welcome as well. Hello Everyone, i hope that maybe some experienced players can help me.

So i am playing MHWorld Solo on PC. I have played close to 200hrs.

I finished Xenojiiva and seen the Credits. Now i want to more or less complete the vanilla game before starting Iceborne and MR.

I Finished all optional Quests from 1* to 8* and i am kinda half way through 9* The only 9* Quests still unfinshed are the ones unlocked by beating a certain amount of tempered Monsters.

But i kinda feel stuck in progression at this point.

I am HR 55.
I play SnS and Hammer (which i have multiple elemental variants up to the "In Development" Stage, so i guess i cant upgrade further until starting MR).
I am either using a nergigante or xenojiiva Armor.

I was able to beat easier tempered Monsters like Anjanath,Rathian,Barroth,Paolumu,Legiana,Bazelgeuse.

At the same time it feels literally impossible to beat the hard ones (Nergigante,Kushala,Zorah Magdaros, Deviljho etc.) I am almost getting oneshotted on every encounter.

The Skill Gap between Tempered Lvl1 and the other ones seems really harsh to me and i feel like i cant really get any better gear statswise without starting MR.
Is this just a skill Issue? Do i just need to "git gud" or am i missing something?

I usually play Bow, but when I decided to use melee weapon, SnS just clicked for me. Almost 600 hours playing and I just found out you can do Perfect Rush without Backstep first.

I don't get how Special Arena quests appear work. I capture monster but quest doesn't appear, now i have 4 time a row Tobi-Kadachi quest but i dot remember what i capture it so much times.

Simply put, I'm doing a sort of challenge run of my own, but I need an idea for what to go for regarding every weapon. I know for most of them it's Raw, and that DB, IG, and Bow prefer element.

Currently LR, but taking it slow. Challenge doesn't end for the save.

I’m having a lot of trouble on this fight. I keep getting one tapped and it’s wasting so many resources. I managed to beat the special assignment but that was only because someone helped me. I want to beat him legit but it’s pretty hard to learn when there’s no room for mistakes. On one hand it feels cheap plunderblade farming his set before beating him legit. On the other hand, I don’t know any other way to get tankier with bow. Could someone help me out on what I should do and how I should go about getting a bit tankier so I can at least survive 1 hit?

I am using frostfang Charge blade for fire alatreon and Glavenus charge blade for ice alatreon

I got Critcal eye 7, weakness exploit and Critical Boost both 3

I am hitting him as much as i can, only healing when reaaaly necessary.

What should i do? I don't have enough damage

I first tried this guy on Hunter Rank 50 before doing Iceborne stuff and got my ahhh handed to me like how meow chef hands me the food. Then learning that its intended for augmented gear I stopped for a day, cuz I'm not augmenting my non Master Rank gear. After getting access to some of my preferred armors and the Viper gunlance I tried again and finally beat silly little arch-tempered nigel the prick.

So I just had the wonderous experience that everyone else is having I guess thanks to steam. Lost my blackveil Val Hazak mini crown from it and got put back to 5 crowns left with a lot of pent up anger.

Im creating this post cause I want to keep finishing this miserable crown hunt but also want clarification on a few things to prevent this from happening again and ruining my whole day.

When the cloud sync error happens I believe I'm supposed to use local files. I did cloud and seem to have learned the hard way that it was the wrong option.
I've saved my backup into another folder to hopefully prevent such losses again.

Is there anything else I can do? I'm really tired of crown hunting and I'll genuinely lose my shit if this happens again. I want to play other games.
