I just love her. One of the bravest women in the US.

u/Silver_Branch3034 1d ago

She’s fearless, fair, smart, kind, and one of us normal people propelled into politics, it’s why she would make an incredible president.

26

u/JLFJ 22h ago

And she's so articulate! Very clear in getting her ideas across. And makes so much sense

14

u/Silver_Branch3034 21h ago edited 21h ago

She has an incredible ability to speak to those from several different perspectives and do so that isn’t demeaning or contrary, not many in politics cannot juggle both so they simply speak to their own constituents. AOC has the lost art of bridging that gap.

u/rebb_hosar 17h ago

Over the long years of my life I found that the most useful but (ultra-rare and astoundingly difficult) cognitive ability and communication skill is the ability to truthfully Consolidate (the act or process of combining, merging, or uniting two or more things into a single, stronger, or more unified whole) ideas and express them without being reductive or manipulative.

She does it well.

34

u/Tdr392 1d ago

I'll be that guy... she's also super hot

40

u/inflagra 1d ago

Don't be that guy. Women hate that guy.

1

u/Feeling_Nature4406 9h ago

I’m ok with guys thinking she is smart and hot, because she is and that’s ok. I hate pedos and those types.

1

u/inflagra 8h ago

I am so fucking sick of men needing to sexualize everything. We get it, she's good looking. But she is so much more than good looking, and constantly bringing it up is gross, objectifying, and demeaning. I can guarantee that she is grossed out by 99.9999% of the men calling her hot. It's not a compliment.

2

u/Feeling_Nature4406 33m ago

Can you PLEASE stop generalizing?? Not all men need to sexualize everything, some PEOPLE do, including women. And yes to the rest that you said but that one thing has nothing to do with the other. If her partner called her hot, she would probably like it. You can still have your opinion though.

16

u/yesman2121 23h ago

I’m that guy too but her advocacy for good policies and her brains take her to atmosphere of the sun 😩

5

u/Silver_Branch3034 21h ago edited 7h ago

It’s a plus, who she is the whole damn cake, her looks are just the cherry on top. Magat women with too much plastic in their face hate this ONE trick!

Edit: to anyone who think I’m objectifying AOC I’m not trying to, but I am a man, and she’s simply a gorgeous woman to me; both inside and out. With that said, what drew me to her over 10 years ago was not her looks, it was her fierce, empathetic, and resolute personality and that will always be my favorite thing about this woman.

2

u/JLFJ 7h ago

She has more empathy than the entire GOP combined! It's so what we need right now!

34

u/umassmza 1d ago

She remembered the servers name, she’s a delight

26

u/Sea_Salamander_8504 1d ago

I wish she was Canadian, I’d vote for her!

56

u/NowWeGetSerious 1d ago

I'm glad she's American, we need our win haha

10

u/M_Mich 22h ago

May I offer to send you Ted Cruz? He’s Canadian.

1

u/Sea_Salamander_8504 13h ago

He seems like a better fit among your Republican Party lol

5

u/LeonardTPants 11h ago

A real person who's had real jobs and gets it. Very few like her in elected US government

5

u/candlehead69 11h ago

She should be the next President of the United States of America.

-8

u/MutedAstronaut9217 22h ago

brave people try new food when they're around it. there's no reason she's just trying culvers now for the first time. half the country has culvers.

3

u/eekamuse 13h ago

I've never even heard of it. I must be from the other half.

-5

u/MutedAstronaut9217 11h ago

never heard of culvers? they cover about half the country.... I don't have in and out in my area but I at least know of them. Maybe don't be proud of sticking your head in the sand like an ostrich? open your eyes to things outside of your lil bubble?

3

u/Superb-Pickle9827 10h ago

People who assume everyone else has their narrow, geographically-determined set of experiences. It’s the analog to boomers “how come you caint buy a dang house? Is you eating too much uh that avocado toast ah bet!”

-4

u/MutedAstronaut9217 10h ago

no, you're making a false equivalency. what you're actually saying is "lol you're eating too much avocado toast but I don't know what avocado toast is because I haven't left my little echo chamber bubble"

That's the issue, you're the fucking problem.

edit: you are a shitty person and a bad actor and I'm fine with all the downvotes that might come with it.

3

u/Superb-Pickle9827 9h ago

(Outrage in flyover country intensifies)

2

u/eekamuse 10h ago

Half the country is a "little bubble?"

Keep digging that hole

209

u/PvtMilhouse 1d ago

In any normal nation, she would be elected president with a great margin.

63

u/codyzon2 1d ago

She will be. Just give it time.

44

u/PlantsNCaterpillars 1d ago

I sure hope so. I told my wife if she runs I’m donating, campaigning, knocking on doors. Whatever it takes.

Also, fried cheese curds from Culver’s are amazing. Pretty much a ‘gotta go’ whenever I visit Michigan or Wisconsin.

3

u/KasseanaTheGreat 22h ago

Fine, I'll wait 2 years

1

u/andresg6 12h ago

I love your hope. But as history has shown, the US is not a normal nation. We don’t elect people like her. We tend to elect old elite white men to the presidency, with occasional exceptions.

1

u/fattmarrell 2h ago

Old grunts are dying off, this is why they are panicking. This is why the Social Democratic movement is in full force, and the opposition are doing everything to retain power. Even bullying/villifying Twitch streamers which is hilariously a new low even for their creed

76

u/AppropriateSpite7881 1d ago

Just went and voted for the best damn candidate our state has ever seen (RS)! Also in solidarity , I just went to Culver's for lunch in solidarity!! Let's F'king GO 💙🌊🫶🤝🫶💙🌊

1

u/whattimeisitmrfox 20h ago

Since you posted below Trump. My brain read your comment in trumps voice.

2

u/AppropriateSpite7881 20h ago

I can totally hear him saying that at a rally event, I'm just a little girl in the world. I wish I could weikd that power. Everyone would have an abundance of food, healthcare would be a non issue and you can send your kids to school feeling safe and you won't have to worry every night what tomorrow is going to look like.

I'm tired .

u/PervlovianResponse 1d ago

AOC 💙's curds 'n butterburgers

24

u/Stereo-soundS 1d ago

That's my order 90% of the time. Double cheeseburger plain with a side of curds.

Edit - only reason I watched was to see if she got curds

7

u/jhudiddy08 1d ago

Save room for frozen custard.

84

u/NoWorth2591 1d ago

Okay so she’s probably running for president.

30

u/hundredelle 1d ago

My reaction too as a Wisconsinite that understands how important Culver’s is to this purple af state

101

u/oceanwalks 1d ago

Perfect presidential candidate vibes. Imagining her in Iowa… perfection.

34

u/techman710 1d ago

She will be the ultimate upgrade we need to save the reputation of our country. Get out and vote everybody.

29

u/CriticalYikes 1d ago

Be my president

26

u/fkenned1 1d ago

This has nothing to do with this video, but 100%, she'd have my vote and I would be just as excited for her aggressive progressiveness (however common sense it may be) as the friggin idiots who are fired up by Trump. AOC is gonna do what she does, but she can count on my vote. That's for damn sure.

20

u/MaxPower836 1d ago

Chill ass AOC. An actual human being not a lizard in a sack of shit costume

18

u/Lucky-Reference-7667 1d ago

Concretes!!!!!!

-6

u/sk0t_ 1d ago

Culvers should just be an ice cream shop, their burgers suck

15

u/adicare12 1d ago

My President.

11

u/manofmystry 1d ago

She so naturally relatable.

9

u/Martha_Fockers 1d ago

Culver’s > in and out I said what I said

17

u/Shooshookle 1d ago

Yeasssss girl Culver’s is the best American fast food !!

8

u/justacoolbaby 1d ago

I already wish I could have voted for her my whole life.

5

u/mental_library_ 1d ago

Aww lol 😭

4

u/cjgist 1d ago

TMZ's pivot to politics is the best thing about 2026.

5

u/Think-Hospital7422 1d ago

She's been my president for years now. She's a real life superhero. God I hope she runs in 28.

5

u/YogurtClosetThinnest 1d ago

get AOC to a Portillos in Chicago quick

2

u/BurnieTrogdor 10h ago

Get her to a Portillo’s 5 maybe 10 years ago. They are not the same.

9

u/NowWeGetSerious 1d ago

Apparently its here in Texas and born and raised here and never heard/been here until now. Guess I'll check it out

21

u/sconniepaul1 1d ago edited 1d ago

Are you talking about Culver's? It's a Wisconsin company and only recently and has slowly expanded into other states.

9

u/NowWeGetSerious 1d ago

Yeah I did a quick Google search and there's like 3 near me, 10mile aways. Didn't know it was a Wisconsin company! Dope, I'll definitely support it. American company gotta support then

4

u/JonnyHopkins 1d ago

Get it while you can! Inevitably it'll be private equitied, corporatized, and  commercialized. But for now - it's just pure Wisconsin butterburgers.

3

u/sconniepaul1 1d ago

Butterburger basket with fries, everything on it except onion. Be sure to get a scoop of custard or a concrete mixer as a desert.

They do have cheese curds but they are fast food cheese curds - not a true representation of a Wisconsin fried curd.

1

u/Powermac8500 1d ago

Yeah, I tried them a few months back and was disappointed. The summer I spent in Madison spoiled me.

1

u/NowWeGetSerious 1d ago

Hmmm, I'm not sure about desert, but I'm weird. I'm not a sweet dude, I prefer salty snacks. But the rest sounds delicious!! Can't wait to try it

2

u/Xandrodomingo 1d ago

Ask for butter finger and Reese’s in your concrete mixer ice cream

1

u/23saround 18h ago

Culver’s is a custard shop first and foremost so I definitely wouldn’t skip that! And the cheese curds SLAP, they are absolutely a good representation of a style of cheese curd sold all over Wisconsin and the Midwest.

1

u/23saround 18h ago

Culver’s is a Wisconsin restaurant chain. Of course they are “a true representation of a Wisconsin fried curd,” lol. Sure, there are other styles served in Wisconsin, and even cheese curds that aren’t fried, but Culver’s by definition serves Wisconsin cheese curds.

6

u/CompetitionProblem 1d ago

A better brand of beef makes a butter burger better. Culver’s is the best chain in the US hands down

2

u/These-Anxiety-5919 1d ago

Recently as in the 90s?

2

u/sconniepaul1 1d ago

It's not like they're in all 50 states. I didn't mean they JUST started expanding in Texas, but they're slowly expanding; most recently in Arkansas and Virginia. Barely in half the states but continuing to grow.

5

u/lynnyfox 1d ago

I went to one because it just opened here, and I haven't been near a What-A-Burger in seven years now, since leaving Texas. Someone said they're similar. I have to disrespectfully disagree with that person.

2

u/NowWeGetSerious 1d ago

I never understood Whataburger. Never did anything for me, always found the meat too dry

3

u/M_Mich 22h ago

The right way to pronounce it “what’s a burger?” Because their food has little to no relation to an actual burger.

1

u/Kelvininin 13h ago

They are not similar. Culver’s is better.

1

u/brzantium 19h ago

There aren't many. There's four here in Austin. I live near one on the southside. The other three are way up north.

Edit: technically, there's only one in Austin (the one by me) because the other three are in the burbs.

1

u/MessiLeagueSoccer 16h ago

We got Culver’s in Florida recently and I’d still rather go to in-n-out. I’ll settle for Culver’s but that’s just cuz my choices are limited. We also have something called skinny Louie which is alright but a bit overpriced.

1

u/solarus 11h ago

I have amazing memories of going to one in the early 2000s near our cabin. They do a custard of the day that is included with every kids meal, so as a kid it felt special for sure..
Its like not only is their custard good but they insist on throwing good shit into it and just pretending like that's just how it is. The burgers and cheese curds and stuff are good too.

0

u/PM_ME_SOME_ANY_THING 1d ago

It’s not life changing. It’s fine.

2

u/snorlz 1d ago

Texans act like Whataburger is life changing, so Culvers might actually be

1

u/brzantium 19h ago

Yes, but that's because Culver's is as good as Whataburger used to be.

4

u/slappy_mcslapenstein 1d ago

Awww. I had Culver's last night. Their Reubens aren't bad at all.

3

u/craigjp 1d ago

Hey Craig Culver started the best burger chain in America right outside Sauk City Wisconsin

3

u/jhudiddy08 1d ago

No custard?!?!

3

u/Zippier92 1d ago

If only Hillary had gotten some cheese curds from Norma.

3

u/thefartyparty 1d ago

I hope she does a butterburger tour in milwaukee! We tried a bunch of places when we visited my aunt in early 00's and I remember a place that had butterburgers as big as your head, like instead of a double or triple patty, the whole thing just got larger in diameter. That was my favorite one

3

u/amigos_amigos_amigos 1d ago

Culver’s is unmatched, like AOC

6

u/Lyraethi 1d ago

I need to know where she got this jacket it looks incredible

2

u/AstroRanger36 1d ago

While I agree Culver’s is life changing, are you aware the original Swenson’s bun is back?

2

u/coolcoolcool485 1d ago

Culvers cheese curds are legit. I genuinely wish I would've eaten there more when I lived in MO. Good burgers too

2

u/duvakiin 1d ago

Yoo AOC got my go to order and loved it. Warms my heart.

2

u/AcctAlreadyTaken 1d ago

I am just now realizing Culvers is our In-N-Out or Whataburger 😀

2

u/WentzWorldWords 1d ago

Come to Flint and try Big John’s. Even vegetarians recommend

2

u/SilverMcFly 23h ago

This is at the Culvers in Livonia Mi. Go Michigan! 🤘

2

u/monkiwi3 23h ago

Elon Must just bought it and now the food will be delivered by rocket powered trays. How do you like it now?

1

u/ImpossibleProduct654 1d ago

She's epic! ♡♡♡♡♡

1

u/Snerkbot7000 1d ago

Eating local foods for clout? Yeah, she running.

1

u/cornell5877 1d ago

She’s running

1

u/The4ofClubs 1d ago

I got registered to vote in a Culver's. Hopefully one day I can cast a ballot with her on it.

1

u/organicchunkysalsa 1d ago

She is fucking amazing.

1

u/SomeKindofTreeWizard 23h ago

Definitely running for president.

1

u/ImaginationToForm2 21h ago

I'd like to go but a far drive for me :(

1

u/Lythaera 21h ago

My favorite are the pretzel bites. Those things are addictive. I grew up on Culver's. Will always be my fav.

1

u/AdamKazm 21h ago

This is literally my local Culver's, which was also my first job. Kinda crazy.

1

u/Significant_War_9954 21h ago

Genuinely huge for the Midwest xD

1

u/Significant_War_9954 21h ago

Genuinely huge for the Midwest xD

1

u/colicab 14h ago

She’s such an all-around babe. Positivity and charm are overflowing.

1

u/Salt_Comfortable5078 14h ago

That's the Culver's near my house!

1

u/Teh-Aegrus 12h ago

The "overwhelmed... At what I saw" was perfect. As a South Florida transplant to the Midwest... Culver's is something special, and worth the hype. Go AOC!

1

u/Patrickfromamboy 12h ago

She’s fantastic

1

u/Bean- 10h ago

My favorite fast food restaurant!

1

u/DrakonSpawn 8h ago

Culver’s is my go-to fast food. Little more expensive than McDanks or Tbell, but sooooooooo much better. Closer to Five Guys.

1

u/Bulky-Proof7594 5h ago

Culver's has a donkey for a mascot.

1

u/spiritualgorila 2h ago

Concrete mixers are so fucking good

1

u/PickReviewsMovies 1d ago

Where is the murder?

9

u/matjam 1d ago

she murdered some cheese curds by the sound of it!

1

u/rococo78 1d ago

Culvers is gross. Sorry

-1

u/9fingerjeff 1d ago

I really wanna like it, on paper it should be my favorite but I just don’t like Culver’s.. I’ve tried it more than once because I wanted to give it a fair shot but it’s just not that great to me. The chicken strips aren’t bad but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get them. AOC and Abdul are awesome though. I hope I get the chance to vote for her someday.

4

u/harleyquinnsbutthole 23h ago

Sorry to attack ur comment but it’s the top comment and ur take is off track to me. The burgers are 🔥 the chicken is meh

0

u/9fingerjeff 17h ago

The burgers are bland and the buns are oily.

1

u/dkinmn 1d ago

Did you get the buffalo strips?

Have you gone farther afield on the menu, like the pot roast sandwich?

2

u/recycledcup 23h ago

The pot roast sandwich is my absolute favorite

1

u/9fingerjeff 1d ago

I’ve had a cheeseburger twice, a fish sandwich the chicken strips and cheese curds. And onion rings. It’s definitely edible but I don’t buy it by choice. Seems the older I get the pickier I am about things.

2

u/dkinmn 22h ago edited 22h ago

I mean...it's still fast food. It isn't going to transcend the category. It is merely a very good exemplar of that category. Perhaps the best.

Also, the buffalo strips are quite different and indeed better than the standard.

1

u/9fingerjeff 17h ago

I’d prefer Burger King, Mcdonalds, Arby’s, White Castle or almost any other fast food I have access to over them. I wouldn’t say they’re bad just meh.

1

u/barryvon 23h ago

i go there often with my boomer mom because she likes it. i really don’t get it. it’s never good. it’s never bad. it’s just… acceptable.

edit: i’d prefer pretty much any of the basic popular fast food spots because while the lows are worse, at their best they are way better than culver’s.

0

u/9fingerjeff 17h ago

Pretty much how I feel too

-1

u/kelpyb1 1d ago

First thing I remember her saying where I verifiably know she’s full of shit.

Culver’s is mid, it’s only compared to its competition like McDonalds, which puts the bar 12 feet under

-2

u/Jesta23 1d ago

We had one Culver’s in Utah.

It closed because no one ever went there.

I get it. It wasn’t good at all.

8

u/MCpoopcicle 22h ago

The last two sentences are how the rest of the country feels about Utah.

2

u/Lythaera 21h ago

there are currently 14 Culver's locations in Utah. I used to live next to one and it was always busy. For good reason, it's good af.

-52

u/GuthramNaysayer 1d ago

Hmm. My opinion of her just took a hit. Culver’s is mediocre wrapped in average. Bleh.

22

u/CalmTsunam1 1d ago

Well my opinion of you regarding your opinion of her just took a hit.

8

u/Blastoplast 1d ago

Previously I had no opinion on r/GuthramNaysayer -- but now my opinion? Not great!

23

u/Telemachus70 1d ago

Im from Michigan, you cant say that here.

https://giphy.com/gifs/xdLH51eNWZAHrwy5mf

8

u/paintpast 1d ago

It’s still better than the major fast food chains like McDonald’s and Burger King. It’s all relative.

3

u/sconniepaul1 1d ago

Best burger chain around. Let me guess, you think In-N-Out or Shake Shack are better? lolol

6

u/AndrewNB411 1d ago

Idk it’s pretty good for fast food. If you ignore the fact that it’s some of the unhealthiest fast food.

2

u/kornkid42 1d ago

I just looked it up, a double ButterBurger with cheese looks healthier than a Big Mac.

2

u/sconniepaul1 1d ago

It's the same level of healthy if not a little better in some aspects.

1

u/chaosmarine92 1d ago

Seriously, the Culver's fanatics are so weird. It's extremely bland food. Freddy's is the objectively better choice in every way.

2

u/GuthramNaysayer 1d ago

Ty. Thats all I was saying. I love her. Not her taste in Culver’s. Lol

1

u/AeratedFeces 1d ago

The Freddy's by me lasted about 4 years before closing because nobody went there, which is weird for a chain in a relatively big city. I tried it two separate times and was unimpressed. Culvers reigns supreme.

-2

u/PickReviewsMovies 1d ago

You may get stoned for saying such a thing but I'm with you. You may as well eat spoonfuls of lard or butter bars if you're touching anything at Culver's.
