When I was stationed in Yokosuka, Trump wanted the USS McCain to be kept out of sight during his visit to the base. What's crazy is that the ship wasn't hidden, but the McCain's sailors who wore their ship's ballcaps were told not to attend his speech. I just remember thinking, this has got to be the most disrespectful president ever, trying to hide one of our own ships just because he didn't like the guy it was named after.
He is a malignant narcissist, jealous of people like McCain who have integrity. I am never surprised by what Trump does.
But even after 10+ years of this, I’m still unable to accept or understand how many people either actively support him, OR who aren’t alarmed and disgusted by him enough to do anything about it.
