You could make anyone the moderator for any sub back then mate, I could have made you a mod for that sub too, doesn’t mean you’d participate. Source I’ve been on Reddit for 15 years

I too have been on reddit since 2010-ish.

You're telling me the CEO of the god damn company was powerless to remove himself from the mod team of a subreddit he was actively promoting?

The head mod of that subreddit, which was a massive creep, was invited to the reddit office and awarded.

Source for your claim about being them to Hq? I’ve googled it and got nothing besides Reddit threads.

I'm not your personal researcher.

It is common knowledge on reddit.

They only took the subreddit down when the press started writing about both the head moderator for being a creep (I think he was arrested for CP, don't remember exactly, it was many years ago), and how reddit fosters these communities.

Once they took it down, spez and the other dude at reddit became concerned, and disturbed by the subreddit and others like it.

But it was driving huge traffic to reddit, so they were promoting it, they awarded the top mod - don't remember with what, it was a whole mess.

Are you republican, you sound so defensive when discussions about child predators are involved, it seems.
