NTUModGod has been down for the past few months mainly because usage was low, and since it’s a personal project made by students for students, we weren’t receiving any funding or support to keep it running.

With STARS coming up and everyone starting to plan their timetables again, we’ve decided to bring it back up for everyone to use!

does anyone know how the entire process will go... the profs never really explained it clearly, like are we supposed to treat it as a presentation over and over for the entirety of our 50 min shift? or we just need to present once then the showcase is just visitors coming to our table and asking questions?? 😭😭 helps

Hi, I'm from CCDS and wondering about the grading for FYP.
According to the schedule FYP is split into 2 parts in stars, so 4AUS in sem 1, 4 AUs in sem 2. Do we recieve a grade each sem? Or only one grade in sem 2 worth 8 AUs?

Same as title, why is specifically the Comp Sci degrees not required to do an FYP? If the reasoning is that FYP is more academically focused and irrelevant to tech roles wouldn't that apply to DSAI n the rest too

I think it's a new course? So of course I fully expect terrible teaching quality and material. Does anyone have any idea of what's going to be taught? I can't find any other posts about it, and I can't search for it on NTU mods or STARS. Is this going to be auto-allotted during course registration or do I have to manually add it?

Context: I’m in CCDS and I realised that I may not have enough credits to do FYP in Sem 2 (lacking 3 credits).

Would it be wise to take 3 MPEs (in replacement of FYP) so that I can graduate in 3.5 years? Would it be disadvantageous in any way?

Currently, my grades are second upper so not much difference since I didn’t get first class

Going on winter exchange and looking to extend my trip and explore around. Is it possible to use PSEA for the flights if I'm extending my trip? If so, is it possible to use it if I'm flying back from a different city's airport or strictly the host city airport only.

Im confused which one to drop, do i take 3 mpes and drop one of sc2006/sc2207 or do i just take sc3000 and sc4000 for mpes?

Emailed CCDS undergrad office and they said that MH3701 (Basic Optimization) is an MPE, so it can only be taken in Year 3, and that I should "stick to recommended curriculum." I want to do it next semester. I meet all the pre-requisites, there is no mention of Year 3 standing in the requirements, and it's only offered in Sem 2 and I don't wanna keep it for Y2S2 (already very hectic) or Y4S2.
