Hey everyone,
I’d love to get some perspective on my current situation and hear what you think I should do next.
I came to Finland back in 2023 to pursue my Bachelor’s degree. I paid all my university tuition fees by myself through hard work. Fast forward to today: through working heavily in warehouse logistics, cleaning, and housekeeping, I’ve managed to build up a total savings of 1 Crore NPR (approx. €62,000 / $67,000 USD).
Honestly, I’m still a bit shocked at how quickly I managed to save this amount just through grit and manual labor.
A few key details about my situation:
Family Situation: My family doesn't know I have 1 Cr saved, and I intend to keep it that way. They think I'm just earning enough to cover my living expenses. My dad still earns his own income, so my family isn't dependent on me, though I do send money back home whenever there's a genuine need.
My Background: I hold a Bachelor's degree in Software Development / Tech, but I haven't landed a software role yet (still actively applying and looking).
Dream & Passion: My true, deep-rooted dream is actually to become a commercial pilot.
I'm now standing at a crossroad on how to utilize or invest this money, and I'm really torn between a few options:
1. Invest in Real Estate in Nepal / Finland: Buy land or a house in Nepal (or put down a deposit/invest in real estate/funds).
2. Pursue my Dream (Flight School): Use this capital to fund modular flight training or an aviation program to become a commercial pilot.
3. Double down on Tech / Master's Degree: Save/invest the capital and fund a Master’s degree in Software Engineering/IT in Finland while keeping a safety cushion, continuing to apply for IT jobs.
4. Keep it in High-Yield Savings / Index Funds: Hold onto the liquidity and invest in safe financial assets while I figure things out.
Given the current job market in Finland and long-term career growth, what would you do in my position? Should I chase the pilot dream, secure assets, or invest further in my software engineering path?

lol I don't know about the "affordability" part...Esko consequences on inequality as well... those having lands and low capital will soon be able to access easy liquidity again... yiniharule boleyko jastai Implementation vayo vaney Market will be flooded with cash again...making dead wood lands again absorbing cash...which has been stuck because nrb is reluctant to push the money out in the market...despite record remittance boom... fearing it will spike land prices again... without productive sector boom...I am glad gov has backtracked and favoured on land prices boom again...which has been the trend in the country since commercial banks were setup to extract remittance money and flip lands making ppl rich doing nothing in grand scale...good job...we go back to the same cycle again...lol

went to a random walk with 2 younger brothers who are currently studying in 11 n 12. In the middle of the conversation, bhai randomly dropped smtg that completely shocked me. He said that he went as a sathi in his sathi's date and she( sathi's gf )brought her friend. After a few talks, we just cracked in a hotel room, he added. Ani arko bhai starts to say the same, yesto ta dherai vaisakyo re. Ani he showed me mutiple pictures of them kissin in his room , celebrating birthday together blaa blaaa. To some extent, i find it pretty romantic ani paxii aru aru sundai jada ta.....i wasn't digesting what they were talking.
I am the eldest among all ani I have never ever dated a girl. I haven't talked to any girl in person lol neither do i in chat.
Ani what could i say. They might think me the same,
Like i stayed in valley for +2 . They used to say, yeti bela smma ta tmle dherai lai veisakeu hola hai. Ani teti bela i used to take this as a joke.
Asti varkhar pant ma belt pani lagauna najjane bhai haru,
2 yrs pachi ali ramro sanga bhetgat vayera bolda, yetro change lol. Is this all normalised or what? I feel like i can't fit in this world lol.

Haina bhannai kina paryo periods bhako cha bhanera? I get that its sad that we have to hide our periods not to get excluded from festivals but LIE FOR GODS SAKE (goddess ko sake bhanum na dashain ma chai lol).
Ive done this twice. Its easy. Nobody is gonna ask you to drop your panties and inspect your vag to see if you’re bleeding or not.
Also, all those women who take medicine to delay their periods. Kaile samma gardai basne ho esto? Health ma effect pardaina? Ki afno health bhanda badi aru ko superstition ko chinta huncha hajur sati savitri haru lai?
(i get that its sad and many households are strict about this. But again, nobody is looking up your vagina to check its status. Just lie. Its not a big deal)
Ani jo jos lai jhut bolna naramro lagyo ya yu pya pu garchan, hajur haru lai kei bhanera ni lagdaina. You’ll be the one being excluded from everything as if you’re a second class human being. Aru ta k nai bhanna sakincha ra
Edit: ARU EXTERNAL CIRCUMSTANCES LE GARDA LUKAUNAI PARNE PARISTHITI BHAKO WOMEN KO BAREMA HAINA YO POST. AFAILE AFULAI NAI YO RULE IMPOSE GARERA MEDICINE KHANE, FESTIVAL NA MANAUNE MANCHE KO LAGI HO. Dhanyabad

Economy decentralize ta garna sakeko xaina the rest of the country is so stark compared to the capital ani yesto news tait

I know " two wrong don't make one right". I also know police shot people in september 8.
BUT
Why were other innocent police officers not involved in Sep 8 incident killed brutally on Sep 9?
They were chased and killed, people even pee on them. That was literally failure of basic " humanity ".
NOW my problem ,
People are talking more about killing animal , elephant safaris ,etc while our society is lacking basic humanity. One of police officer was off-duty too.
Not just last year, 11 years ago kailali 8 police officers were brutally killed, Gaur hatya kanda people from another political party killed another , etc. These are some incident that's arising more and more.
Why no one post about this but all post about non-human animals?

Hi guys
I am 27 years old female who came to Australia in 2018. I was already in a relationship before coming to Australia with a guy my age, very open minded, vey soft and caring. Our relationship started off by being friends and we fell in love eventually.
We started living together here in Australia and everything was working fine. Everyone around us, our families and relatives knew about our relationship and we both wanted to marry each other.
In 2023, he started talking about going back to Nepal to look after his family (dad and mom are not in good terms and dad has mild dementia) and I supported his decisions. He has always been a free bird and I never had any problem since he was happy. He also felt like Australia is not for him, but I very much think it is as I have been here since I was 18. I have a good job which pays me well.
In 2025 July he went back to Nepal. I was supportive of his decision as a tiny bit of me thought that he would come back for me because of love. He went to Nepal and we started doing long distance. Imagine living with each other for almost 6 years and all of a sudden you are by yourself. It must have felt the same for him, but he has family and friends and a change of environment.
He wants to get married with me and settle back in Nepal. I am a bit hesitant as I don’t know what living in Nepal would look like for me especially financially since I am so used to spending money my way.
My dad is not very happy with my boyfriend as he thinks my boyfriend made a selfish decision. What would you have done if you were me?

So I am doing some data crunching to make a couple of scatterplots and based on my initial calculations:
Around 6.5% of Nepal’s total muslim population seems to be enrolled in registered madrasas, when you include both registered and unregistered madrasas (using unregistered data given by muslim commission in CIJ report figures) that goes up to around 13.5%.
children’s numbers are even more wild. (Assuming ages 5–14 roughly correspond to Classes 1–8) initial calculation suggests around 25% of muslim children in that age group attend registered madrasas and another 25% attend unregistered ones. So combined
50% of Muslim children aged 5–14 attend madrasas based on official numbers given by government entities.
I wanted to compare Nepal with saarc countries, countries with similar sized muslim populations and countries where muslims make up a similar percentage of the total population. And every single time we seem to come out on top. We might even be ahead of afganistan where around 8.43% of the total muslim population reportedly attends madrasas. (After taliban takeover btw, https://www.afghanistan-analysts.org/en/expert-voices/a-parallel-education-system-the-talibans-madrasa-expansion-and-its-implications-for-gender-society-and-regional-security/)
And then I was digging for more and BOOM:
“Around 700,000 Muslim children are enrolled in 4,000 madrasas across the country.”
[for context muslim commission said 3000 total madrasas around 1000 registered madrasas and 200,000 total students)
The Kathmandu Post, quoting Zaheed Pervej, a Tribhuvan University professor who has researched Nepali madrasas.
That would mean around 50% of Nepal’s ENTIRE Muslim population enrolled in madrasas? TF is going on here
