I'm sure this isnt new for a lot of people but October is almost over and we will be upon the "best time of the year"

However, my birthday is in 2 days, Thanksgiving is in 39 days and Christmas is in 67 days and just like this time last year and the 4 years before, I can't seem to laugh or fall asleep without at least, 1 drink.

Oh my GWAD. I picked up an overnight at my job and instantly regret it 💀. I would like to be lying in bed watching rat exterminators seal homes . 😭😭 Anyway, im bored. xoxo

Hey fellow night shifters!!!! I work nights full time and would love to meet fellow night shifters and chat throughout the night ◡̈ there’s a ton of downtime at my job and I get bored easily no matter what, even when I complete my job duties AND find more stuff to do on top of that, it’s still boring at work. I also think it would be nice to socialize still since all my friends and family are asleep while I’m working and that means I have NO ONE to socialize with. I just want a decent eight hours of sleep every night bro😢

3-4 hours of sleep for someone who has worked all damn night is considered a completely adequate amount of sleep by people who lolled around in the bed for 8 to 10 hours last night..

The scene: an 9 am phone call

Me: I need a late appointment. I worked all night, and I need some sleep before I come in. I need a late afternoon appointment, like your last appointment of the day.

Receptionist: oh, wow! You worked all night? Ok, I will definitely text you your appointment time, so the phone call won't wake you up and you can get some sleep!

Proceeds to text me that I have a 1 pm appointment.
