Can anyone recommend an app for my 14 year old to help with trip planning that isn't the octranspo website?

Belleville Transit 9725 originally belonged to OC Transpo (Ottawa) under the fleet number 9725. Owned by MTB Transit Solutions, it was leased to Belleville Transit in January 2015. It was also leased to other OBelleville Transit 9725ntario transit agencies over its lifespan, including Burlington Transit (as #7099) and Sarnia Transit (as #005).

Hi,
Iโm a journalism student at Carleton University and I'm working on a story about the mayoral candidates approaches to fixing OC Transpo
Iโm looking to speak with current or former OC Transpo employees and share their perspectives on what each of these platforms would look like practically.
If you are open to sharing, please comment or send me a DM!

As many of you know after NWTB The 53 got extended and ruined and the 114 was erased from existence this was the worst thing to ever happen in this area due to the important connection to downtown without using the train, Now it could take 45 minutes to get downtown on a good day. However despite the 53's flaws it is one of the most important routes in the whole system and I believe it should be extended to Downtown and do a loop around Tunney's and follow the 12 to Makenzie King, good idea?

So Rick Leary came out the other day to say that 77 percent of trips were on time and that OC transpo ridership was up to 190 000 per day a 40000 person ridership increase in a month 90 000 of which were the train. The new express routes have been a success and all in all and I September has been a bounce back for OC. Hopefully they can keep this up for the rest of the year.
Yes I know it has its issues but the good stuff often feels overshadowed by the overwhelming negative.

Took the bus for the first time in 2+ years today. Started off strong with the bus not showing up, then claiming it had gone past me. It did not...I.WAS.THERE. So I waited another 15 mins for the next one. When I finally sat down and thought things were looking up, a guy who reeked of smoke sat down beside me. So all that to say, a 10/10 experience, just like I remember.
Anyway, I'd like to formally introduce my new hashtag...

Does anyone genuinely use uplands station,I mean it has 2 busses and 1 ,3 stop train, with 2/3 meant to connect to the airport and the other one being a local bus. Also, other then the community center nearby there really isn't anything there.

I am wondering if it is reliable enough and dependable enough year-round, especially during commute times (7AM to 9AM, and 4PM-6PM) to get to work and back home. Curious how your experience has been. Would love to hear from people that take this line daily to work, and have been for some time. Please chime in, thank you for reading!

Saw a post here on what a timed stop is but I'm curious to know whether there's any discretion for a bus driver to not do a timed stop where it makes sense.
My experience is mostly around the morning/afternoon rush from the 75. Most morning drivers will rush as fast as possible to Tunney's and usually gets there about 5-10 minutes before the actual scheduled time which is a nice plus. However, some drivers will religiously make a timed stop and wait at Lincoln Fields despite probably there being a dozen interlined routes that between Lincoln Fields and Tunneys anyways.
Same goes on the way back during afternoon rush. A lot of drivers especially on the 200s series will rush as fast as possible getting to Barrhaven Centre/Marketplace 5-10 minutes early. However, some will religiously wait at Fallowfield despite the bus being loaded with people who want to get off at the upcoming stations.

Anyone else finding the electric bus headlights are too damn bright?
And the new white LED displays are harder to distinguish at a distance?
Or just me?

Apparently OC transpo has invisible buses

My wife is taking the bus to Montreal tomorrow for the first time. We just wanted to check if the Flixbus pickup is at the OC Transpo Transitway stop. It's not very clear on the Flixbus site where the stop is, except that it's St. Laurent. Thanks for any information.

I, like many others who rely on OC transpo, use a mobility aid most days and this issue is starting to frustrate me. Itโs already an extremely tight fit for me to enter/exit on small busses because of how narrow the front is and what doesnt help is people standing there all the time!
if you physically can PLEASE move to the back.
Iโve been denied entry to busses because of it being packed in only the front.
i find it interesting that this is even a problem since there are stickers and announcements everywhere saying move to the back.
anyways, please stand at the back if you can, for everyones sake.

Does anyone know where the vending machine at Rideau station is, because I cannot find it.
