❓ Question Line 80 riders, I need your help!

I am wondering if it is reliable enough and dependable enough year-round, especially during commute times (7AM to 9AM, and 4PM-6PM) to get to work and back home. Curious how your experience has been. Would love to hear from people that take this line daily to work, and have been for some time. Please chime in, thank you for reading!

As someone who has taken it for nearly 10 years, 4 of which were nearly the entire line to get to uni, absolutely horrible, but still on par with the rest of the buses. Once you've started taking it, you'll get to know what times are usually late, vs what times are early.

My best advice is to download the Transit app (green background). It uses other riders to track GPS to let you know when the bus will be there and it's usually pretty accurate. Unsure whether you'll be riding at 7AM or need to be at work for 7AM but the morning routes (5:00-6:20) are quite reliable, the 6:40 route is absolutely atrocious and cannot be trusted under any situation, and anything after that I'm unfamiliar with.

If you want more intricate details about it or just more info in general I can certainly add it :)

i dont take it daily, but it is decently reliable in my experience. just download transit and try to come to the stop 5+ minutes early with a 15-30 minute buffer time from when you need to get to work.

my biggest issue with the 80 is it never coming when im either at tunney's or barrhaven centre, but i guess that happens with all the busses.

I don’t ride it much it’s pretty reliable but annoying given that I stops every two seconds and has no bus lane the whole way
