Question Multisamples | Splice vs Loopcloud

I have googled it, run it through AI analysis and have a trial active on each, but I am really interested to hear ‘practically, from the field’ how other OP-XY users feel about using either service.

Context is essentially building and importing Multisample presets.

Also I plan on using Koala Sampler on iOS to manipulate samples and have a workflow that is computer independent! I really feel I want this with the OP-XY… as I sit in front of a Mac all day.

Starter for 10… Splice has an app and LC does not! This is a big deal for me.

Thanks, all opinions valued!

I avoid using a computer at all and just stick to what’s in my synth for the most part.

What’s your process for loading multi samples from splice? I was planning to try the same

Great question.

Tomorrow will be a week since I bought the OP-XY and I plan on posting how far I’ve got with instructions I created for myself. Somethings clicked quickly, other things kept me awake for nights.

It’s only be a week!

I’ll post stuff tomorrow, multisample construction included

As far as I checked a few months ago, there aren’t many multisamples on Splice. I don’t know about Loopcloud, but the best downloadable multisamples are scattered across the internet for free. There are a lot on Pianobook and also on Reddit, posted by various users.

My aim is to create mailtisample presets, by downloading Splice or Loopcloud samples and assigning them to specific keys in the OP-XY

If you only have different samples, then you should use the drum sampler in the OP-XY. Splice is great for that because you can sort by tempo, chords, and BPM.
