Seagull Bakery - other new gems?

Someone posted about this spot a while ago, and today we made the trip out. WOW! Worth the trip. I'm so grateful for small businesses on the Island that offer new, creative ideas and a quality product. The Seagull menu is small (and can we not call a sandwich a "sandy") but the food quality was solid.

Tell me more NEW (or newish) spots that I should try!

Helen's Pastry Co., Shops of St Avards in Charlottetown. It’s all I think about some days.

I still haven't tried it myself yet, but I've heard the croissant place at Founders Hall is amazing Edit: Called Pane & Self Love! Not super new (3 years old?) but Dreadnaught is delicious every time I go! Its in Morell so it gets you out of town.

No, I think it had Pain in the name (french for bread). Pain and Love maybe?

Went to Simon's Snack Shoppe in Central Bedeque last week to check it out and it might just be the best sourdough in PEI. Their chicken cranberry sandwich was insanely good, we got an extra one to take home with us for later

Love Seagull, the iced coffees are some of my favourites and they make a really good chicken salad sandwich. Dreadnaught is one of my favourite go-to spots as well!

Only thing worse than a sandy is a sammie

I use neither, but I think I'd prefer sammie
