Support PSVR1 Psvr1 and ps5?

Do i need a processor unit for ps5?

Bought a second hand psvr1, seller said that i dont need a processor unit for ps5(that i only need it for ps4), only an adapter that makes it compatible with ps5.

Is this true?

I got the cable that splits into 2 hdmis (the labels say 4 and 5) and a camera, nothing else..

The seller lied.

You need everything required to connect it to a PS4 plus the PS4>PS5 adapter.

You need the correct processor unit for your headset, their are two different ones, so make sure to get the correct one.

Have you got some PlayStation Move Controller's already? If not, then you'll probably want some of those.

I'm sure you can Google the instruction manual for your PSVR headset and it'll show you how to connect it to the PS4 and what you need, then you just do that but connect it to the PS5 using the adapter.

You need the processing unit and you'll also need an adapter for the camera.

Should just need that processor unit and the camera adaptor, but it'll all be worth it when you're playing Skyrim VR!

Yeah they released a VR specific version for PSVR1. It’s pretty great

"Have you ever been to the Cloud District in VR? What am I talking about, of COURSE you haven't"

If you have the volume and power buttons hanging on the cord, then it’s the first gen PSVR1, and if you’ve got the power and volume as fully integrated buttons in the underside of the visor, then it’s the mark 2 PSVR1.

This is how you know which breakout box you need.

The PS5 adapter is no longer given away for free by SONY, but they remain cheap and available last I looked.

If the halo cushions on the headset aren’t smelly, then tracking down a breakout box and adapter are worth it imo.

You’ll also need a PS4 camera (although PS3 can might also work).

How much did you pay out of curiosity cause I feel you’re about to get ducked here.

Did you get controllers? Camera?

Like 20 euros, got the headset, camera, and cables. No controllers
