"Everyone feels such ownership in this team and they love these two teams. So to be able to meet the players and the coaches and get to interact with them, ask questions before the season tips off … it just makes it a lot more fun."

– Mel Raines, CEO of Pacers Sports & Entertainment

And they said that we couldn't play fast with Zubac 😂

Preseason officially ends and the regular season begins.

See you next month, JJ!

Description:

Back where it all started.

An exclusive look into my return to the court. My first Preseason game since my Achilles injury in the 2025 NBA Finals. After more than a year of rehab, I open up Year 7 of my career back where the journey began. Hilton Coliseum at Iowa State.

This follows the 24 hours leading up to my highly anticipated return to Ames. Follow along as I step back onto the court in front of the fans who saw it first.

Tyrese is 1 of 1

Shep seems like he has lost all of his confidence. I feel bad for dude. I love Shep and I know he can get back to his old self. Buck and Quinn were even saying he be balling in practice. Come on Sheppy we believe in you! You evolved from mustache Shep to goatee Shep.

JJ we hate to see you go but love to see you walk away…

So we get the joy of welcoming you back again.

I wish they would make him a coach but that’s not where we’re at.

So, when will he be back?

Reminds me of the "why I oughta" incident between Ryan and Andrew last season. 😂

Hali said it best. He been a bitch

Any news on the hitch in Haliburton's walk back to the locker room at halftime? QB noticed it too and commented after I was already looking really close at that walk from the bench area. I don't think it was addressed by the media after the game.

My apologies for posting this hear, but it's an Indianapolis based league. Most of our 'owners' live in the Indy area or are Pacers fans.

Ten team, Indianapolis based league (we have four owners who aren't near Indy).

Roto style, weekly transactions, nine categories.

$110 entry fee. (We don't collect up front. The league features three sports writers, two basketball coaches, one of whom is in a country music band. I'm one of the media guys and a coach. So you can verify we're actually people.)

• $10 goes toward the CBS Sports site
• $50 goes toward weekly awards
• $50 goes toward end of year awards (top four)

We have a separate rookie drat every June, along with a June free agent draft. We head into the season, effectively, drafting our bench.

DM if you're interested, and feel free to ask any questions here, if you want, as well.

With the supAAcollection, sometimes sets remain in a state of half completion for a good long while. Expediency demands a mix n' match approach to creating 'nine cards of a type' that display well.

Witness the '80-81 retro Topps Chrome. This actually came in special packs in Topps flagship boxes, essentially a TC preview, when Topps launched its first set with the new NBA license in autumn '25.

I started with the black Siakam /10, which is a beautiful card, and that was all folks. Had to settle for orange /25 of the rest. (Still don't have Haliburton). And a red geometric /5 of Nesmith, in real workhorse "grind out the win" mode.

You can tell when an insert or set is really coveted, because you don't see the truly rare examples appear on the Bay. My dream is to have this superlative '80-81 set in all black, but that could take a lifetime.

The Topps Chrome AA autos in the center row are from Topps chromium issue proper. A black /10 in center, flanked by orange and orange geometric /25 (both jersey number 23). The "clouds" design was dissed by breakers initially, but may have caught on. I don't mind it personally, it's not as loud, repetitive, and in your face as a lot of the Fanatics insert designs. And that Pacers logo is growing on me.

Sorry if this got posted already but just wow

I know Keba is basically at the end of the roster, but man I'd love it if he can just stick around as a hyper athletic energy bringer that comes in for garbage time and just throws down some nasty dunks.

A visual representation of Kelly Oubre's funny quote about running into a Zu screen this week. 💪

Ok let me explain. He needs more muscle, so he can be more explosive, jump higher, stand his ground on defense. And on top of all that, having more muscle leads to less injuries as muscles protect the joints and ligaments. I'm a big fan of the way he plays the game,

And his nickname should be "Sly"
