I built my pc for the first time,
B550M DS3H AC R2
COOLER MASTER MWE GOLD V3 750W
RX 9070 16GB
GIGABYTE B550M DS3H AC R2 AM4
AMD RYZEN 5 5600
1TB NVME SSD
16 gb DDR4 RAM from another pc I had (tested)
The PC turned on, and I had a look at the BIOS, but I was in a rush so I shut it down and came back for OS installation the day after. The only change I made was to put the cover of the case on.
Now the pc turns on, but no screen. (However my monitor recognises that there is an input but the screen remains dark)
I have checked the rams, the monitor and the cable, i have done a hard reset and pulled out the battery from the motherboard too.
I noticed that gpu fans are turning on for 3 sec and then off for a second and so on.
If hold down Del or Esc keys there is a blinking green light on the motherboard.
Everything but the rams and the case that i got from a friend are brand new.

I wanted to get into gaming and bought a PC. I used it for a week and then got a steam deck, now the PC just sits under my desk because I never want to sit by work desk while gaming.
I kept pushing off selling it because I was busy and never allocated the time to think about it, but it’s probably losing value just sitting here. Can someone help me and ballpark what it’s worth so I can list it on marketplace? See 2nd image for specs. Thanks

Hi, I was thinking about upgrading from my old gaming laptop to an actual PC. I have a limited budget of $1,700AUD, but I only plan on playing games in 1080p, and I rarely play AAA titles but if I did I would be maximising performance over graphics. I typically play Overwatch and indie games of varying types, but some have been getting a bit too heavy for my little laptop.
I know a little but not a lot about PCs, and ultimately wanted to skip the stress of putting a build together by buying prebuilt. I'm in Australia and found a PC on Nebula for $1,600 AUD with the following specs, but I was worried about the price being so low for 16gb dedicated, so I'm curious to know if there's anything majorly wrong with it that I'm not seeing?
Thanks!

My father offered to buy my Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 2 (i7 11th Gen, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) for ₱15,000 ($238) if I ever decide to sell it.
I've been longing for a gaming PC, so I'm thinking of selling my laptop and saving an additional ₱5,000–₱7,000 ($79–$111), giving me a total budget of around $317–$349 for a budget gaming PC with better gaming performance.
However, I'm also considering taking IT or Computer Engineering in college, so I might need a laptop for programming, coding, and schoolwork in the future.
Should i sell my Laptop so I can finally build a PC or keep until end highschool till college?

Been looking at parting out a pc for my gf and been falling down the rabbit hole losing my mind so thought I would ask for a 2nd opinion on what is the better value and/or quality.
Currently looking at 2 different bundles:
The plan would be to either pair 1 with the same amount of ram but aim for cheaper to save or get 2 and find a good quality 9070xt with some rbg (she does love her rgb).
I won't lie I have no problem debating cpu, gpu or ram choices but i cannot for the life of me understand the intricacies of motherboard option so any advice there would also be appreciated XD.

Hello, i wanted to ask for advice. I want to get new laptop and upgrade my desktop. Currently I am IT student and developer. Want to get new laptop for studies and casual use and upgrade my desktop for a bit of casual gaming (Dota 2, Apex, Coop games) and for home labs, maybe LLM local deployment, docker etc.
Location: Lithuania (but similar market to other Europe countries).
Budget: up to 1500 Eur.
Laptop:
Currently have Lenovo 14" yoga slim 7 (Ryzen R7 4800U, integrated graphics, 512 M.2 SSd, 16GB RAM). Had it for 5 years, amazing battery life up to 8 hours, portable. Want something similar, not gaming laptop, but for general use (movies, browsing, MS office), light coding, for studies with good battery life, no need for graphics cards. Will give this one away for cousin in school.
Desktop:
Some time ago i wanted to get +16 GB ram and RTX 3060/3070 but didnt use pc that often, so did not upgrade.
Havent done the market research yet and I am couple years behind of the current market, what do you guys suggest to do in my situation?
For now I have this plan: new laptop for around 900-1000 Eur and rest for GPU + 16 GB ram + another 512 M.2 SSD. Currently dont see a point of building a new system since I am not a hardcore gamer, settings on medium is fine if it hits 1440p and for home labs it would be good enough?

Hello, first build. There's this light on my mobo that shows up when I flip the psu switch. The power button also will not start the machine. Google says its a debug led while someone on discord says it's heat. But I'm pretty sure it's too bright to be heat (you can't really see the brightness with the flashlight.) My specs are : Asus prime b550m wifi 2, ryzen 5 5500, rtx 3060, 16gb ddr4, 1tb ssd, 500w psu,
Any help's appreciated.

Hi everyone!
I'm currently looking to build a new PC and I really need help.
I wanna start by saying I already have a PC but it's an HP prebuilt from 2023, here's the specs:
i7-12700F
3060TI
32gb ddr4
1TB SSD
I do streaming, YouTube videos and play pretty heavy games, such as Cyberpunk 2077, Wuthering Waves, and newer titles.
What I really need is to stream and record at the same time while I'm playing, which on my current PC is basically impossible, and I need it considering I'm getting important sponsors and growing.
Since upgrading my prebuilt is basically impossible due to HP proprietary parts, I'm building a new one, and I was thinking of using the old one to stream and record while playing on the new one, using a capture card.
I already bought a 9060XT, and was thinking of getting an MSI PRO B760-P WIFI DDR4 and putting transferring my I7-12700F and 32gb ddr4, and just get something less for the streaming PC since I'm guessing it won't require as much, just don't know what.
For the case I was thinking of going with a Lian Li Lancool 217.
And for the PSU a Be Quiet! pure power 13 M 850W (to keep it open for future upgrades).
At first I wanted to buy directly a Ryzen CPU, but that would require me to spend more money right now, and I want to divide the expenses (gaming PC now, streaming PC in a few months)
I already paid 600€ for the 9060XT.
I should mention I live in Italy. and my budget for the rest of this build is about 500/600€ (if possible I'd prefer 500€)

Hello everyone,
After 7 years, Im finally retiring my old gaming pc and treating myself to an upgrade. My current system is a ryzen 5 3600X + RX 5700, so honestly, almost anything modern will feel like a huge upgrade.
Specs:
NIMO ARENA GN7
• CPU: Intel Core i5-14400F
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB
• RAM: 32GB DDR5
• Storage: 1TB M.2 PCle 4.0 NVMe SSD
• Cooling: Air cooling with 4 ARGB fans
• Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi 6
• OS: Windows 11
I tend to keep my PCs for a long time, so I’m hoping this one will last another 5-7 years like my current build has. At least it comes with a 2yr warranty from nimo.
Would love to hear your thoughts. Anything I should keep an eye on with this setup?
Thanks!!

I’m in the US!
My budget was around $1000 for a computer for my fiancé for Christmas. He mainly plays League but I’d love for him to be able to play some more demanding games on it, he’d also use it a bit for music production.
I would love to build one but I don’t know what I’m doing, so I honestly would prefer to get a prebuilt one with a warranty. I found this one on Costco’s site for $1299 after $500 off: https://www.costco.com/.product.4201009213.html
Would this be a decent option or would I be better off doing something else completely? Thanks in advance!! 😅

Hello all! I’ve been recently getting back into pc gaming and I am over the moon. My wonderful boyfriend has a pc that his brother built which I can imagine was pretty good at the time, now it kinda falls behind. So I was looking for some advice on what I should upgrade next? My number one is a gpu for sure but I’m just not sure if it’d be smarter to just upgrade the cpu AND gpu. Any advice welcome!
SPECS:
Board: z590 pro WiFi
CPU: I5-10400
GPU: Radeon RX 580 8gb
RAM: 2x8gb Corsair vengeance ddr4 - 2x4gb crucial ballistix sport ddr4
I don’t live near a micro center (cries in west Texan) nor am I concerned with price, I’m honestly just trying to see what I should be investing in as far as time and money lol. Cheers!

Yo guys, after 10 years the time for an upgrade finally came. I’m trying to fit in 25k NOK budget (under 30k with and oled monitor), which is approximately 2600 usd, and I’ve been thinking about something like that. I’m looking for some decent 1440p, mostly singleplayer gaming. I’m living in Norway if that would be helpful information. Would you suggest any changes in this build?

Hello everyone Here are my PC specs and some information
- AMD Ryzen 5 5500
- ASRock B450M Steel Legend
- DDR4 16GB 2x8 HyperX RAM 2400MHz
- SAPPHIRE PULSE RX 580 4G G5
I have tried to turn on Secure Boot, but it requires me to disable CSM. With CSM off, my PC wouldn't boot. Here's a video below of me doing the procedure.
Now, with that done, it still boots, but it won't let me into the BIOS, its just a blank screen. Thank youuu guysss! qwq

Hi everyone Ill be soon building a Pc for gaming and everyday use, and I was wondering if the DEEPCOOL CG530 White could be used without extra fans. Is the airflow good enough to only have an AIO on the top of the case?
I have the 5080 python III, and I have an r7 9850x3d as well
Thanks!
I'm planning to build a PC for gaming, video editing, YouTube and freelancing alongside my current job. My total budget is strictly ₹90K, and I cannot stretch it further.
I got two quotations and I'm confused about which route makes more sense.
Option 1: i5-14400F + RTX 3050 6GB build
- i5-14400F – ₹14,000
- Gigabyte B760 DDR4 motherboard – ₹7,000
- 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM – ₹8,000
- Crucial 480GB SSD – ₹8,000
- RTX 3050 6GB – ₹26,000
- Cabinet + 600W PSU – around ₹6,350
- LG 24-inch monitor + keyboard/mouse
- Total: ₹90,506 including GST
The RTX 3050 6GB is the cheapest option I've found locally at ₹26K. Other shops are quoting around ₹30K.
Option 2: Ryzen 5 8500G build without a dedicated GPU
- Ryzen 5 8500G – ₹16,520
- Gigabyte B650M Gaming WiFi motherboard – ₹10,030
- Crucial 16GB DDR5 5600MHz RAM – ₹28,320 (quoted price; I'm checking this because it seems unusually high)
- Crucial 500GB Gen4 NVMe SSD – ₹9,086
- Corsair CX750 PSU – ₹6,254
- Gigabyte 103 case – ₹3,540
- Acer 27-inch IPS 144Hz monitor – ₹9,322
- Keyboard/mouse combo – ₹1,416
- Total: ₹84,488 including GST, according to the quotation
My thinking:
I don't want to spend ₹26–30K on an RTX 3050 6GB right now if it's not worth that price. I'm just starting with video editing, YouTube and freelancing, so I don't expect to do very heavy work initially. I'd rather start with integrated graphics and upgrade to a much better GPU later when I start earning from freelancing.
I'm considering the AM5 platform because of future CPU upgrade options, but I want to know whether the Ryzen 5 8500G is actually a good choice for this plan.
My questions:
Does starting with the Ryzen 5 8500G without a dedicated GPU make sense for basic editing, YouTube and freelancing?
Is the 8500G a good long-term choice, or should I consider another AM5 CPU/APU?
What components should I change in the second build?
Is the quoted RAM price correct, or should I get a different RAM kit?
Would it be better to save money on the motherboard, PSU or monitor and improve the CPU/RAM/storage instead?
Can I build a balanced system now and add a high-end GPU later without replacing major components?
My priority is to start earning from my PC as soon as possible, not to build a high-end gaming PC immediately. My budget is strictly ₹90K, including the monitor and basic peripherals.
I'd appreciate suggestions based on Indian component prices and real-world experience.
