I feel like religion is a big part of the lives of men that abuse women. They are taught that women are essentially the property of man and that a woman "can't be raped" by her husband. Hell, Ivana claimed that Donald raped her until a monetary settlement was reached.

The majority of rapes never even get prosecuted. The woman is almost always blamed, too.

Not all men. But plenty of men make excuses for rapists. We wouldn't want to prosecute them and ruin their lives, after all.. But it's fine if her life is ruined. Maybe she shouldn't have dressed that way / gone to that location / trusted her friend / had a drink / (insert excuse to blame her here).

People make excuses for those who claim they were raped too. Stuff like “they didn’t go straight to the police because of trauma” or “they texted their rapist positively because of more trauma”

Not all women, but plenty of women are full of it and would absolutely lie for revenge or to play the victim. We’ve seen this countless times in recent time. Yet and still people want to just “believeallwomen” without thorough examination of the evidence.

Those boys from the Cornell 7’s lives are ruined. Completely. Even if found innocent. They’re cooked.

Aside from the back handed remarks towards WH employees and such. Don’t do that. Don’t be Marco in that way. It’s unnecessary and this message hits just as hard without any of that in the letter. Everybody love everybody
