That’s not always true. Some people are working 3 jobs to get by.

Less than .5% of people don't dictate if it's cheap or expensive. Our truck drivers make more than doctors in every country in the world besides 10ish. You can make 70k here pretty easy even if you're uneducated..

Also the average salary for someone with out a HS diploma is $41k.

Okay the average American is stupid? There's endless plumbing, manufacturing, truck driving jobs available. I have friends in every single trade there is and they all make 80k+, with the data centers paying absurd amounts they're making 100k easily no college. Maybe put in a little effort if you're working a dead end job.

I’m a Union Electrician and Combat veteran. You know how long my apprenticeship was? It was 5 years/9000 hours on the job and 900 classroom hours. You think everyone can get into a trade? It’s hard, it’s a commitment, it’s time consuming, you have to have reliable transportation, you have to work and then go to school.

I’m IBEW local 58 Journeyman Electrician. I make $60/hour and $120+/hour total package. It’s not as easy as go get a job working construction clown. I spent almost a decade Mastering my trade. It’s why I make more than my girlfriend who’s a Nurse Practitioner.

Go ask your buddies how easy it is to become a Journeyman or Master in a trade.

Most manufacturing jobs pay $15/hour unless you’re lucky enough to get into a Union shop. Even still unless you get a job at Boeing, The Big 3, or maybe a larger company you won’t make enough to do well. Tier 1 suppliers pay like $20-$25/hour, healthcare, and a 401k.

This is one area you don’t want to argue on.

Literally everyone in my family works in manufacturing 🤣. Yeah starting off you might make 15$ an hour. After several years in solar manufacturing my cousin is at 30-35 an hour not counting over time. My brother has been in bottle manufacturing and he's had 70k a year not counting overtime. My other brother is a handy man at the city and makes 60k a year with great benefits.

None of them are even skilled, the only skilled worker in my family is my sister that does hair. She has 3 kids and her husband works at Bass pro shop. Both have nice car, new phones, a 3 bedroom house, and just went to Tennessee in the summer for vacation.

Trust me dude you don't win this argument you and the losers who don't think critically about how privileged we are all comment the same thing. BOOT LICKER, NepOBaBy. You all repeat the same stupid arguments.

Go look up the average manufacturing salary. I said some places you might get it. Dana, Flex-n-gate, Magna, American axle all pay $20-$25/hour. Those are large tier 1 oem manufacturers. They beg us to get them in the apprenticeship.

Oh you’re one of those pick yourself up by the boot straps. What if a single mother has 3 kids, no car, and no family to rely on. Her kids have to be watched right? That can be $8k - $44k. Let’s say $8k and times that by 3. We are at $24k/a year. Now she has to take a bus to a factory making $15/hour. What about food, clothes, water, rent, electricity, and so on?

Cool this is why I said 90% of people. My mom was exactly this by the way worked at Wendy's until she got a job on the railroad and raised 5 kids we lived extremely frugally. Crazy what 55 hours on the railroad can do for you along with home cooked meals, hand me down clothes, and just understanding that we still have it better than 90% of the world. Crazy how I knew that at 13 when I'm eating left overs for the 2nd day in a row.

So what if your mom doesn’t get lucky and get a job on the railroad? You telling her to pick herself up by the boot straps?

Brother it’s a lot more than 10% of people living like that.

Are there lazy people? Of course.

Is there people who scam the system? Of course.

Are people bad with money? 100% Yes.

However most people want to provide for their families. In today’s America it’s not as easy as you think. 50% of people are living paycheck to paycheck.

So what is your solution, we just flip a switch have the government mandate everything be cheaper? You can acknowledge things are perfect and still acknowledge were more privileged than 90% of the world.. I've been to 65 countries this is very obvious

I’ve been to a lot of countries as well my friend. No thats absurd to say the government can flip a switch and make things right. However this is the culmination of 40 years of bad policy. Then it’s all coming to a head now with some one who really has no idea whats going on. Scott Bassent.
