He signed an EO to exempt Russia from the sanctions placed on them by Congress. It is clearly unconstitutional and is only benefiting Russia (who is an ally of Iran).
Question as a non-US person: do you think Trump has damaged the credibility of executive orders as an instrument of governance to the degree that a Democrat-controlled House would want to legislate to ban them?
Trump overruled a bill passed by Congress to increase sanctions on Russia. The bill was named after Lindsey Graham. It was his dying wish to hit Russia harder. The bill also included further sanctions against Iran.
It makes absolutely fuck all sense to cancel it. And it definitely isnāt in the ānational interestā as he has stated.
The word is that even Republicans are not happy their legislation has effectively been vetoed by Trump
Heās been a Russian asset for a long time. Your general moron canāt retain info or donāt care. That story about him at a Russian hotel with prostitutes came out in the run up to 2016, I believe. People read or see this shit and then poof itās gone. Flooding the zone and the speed with which news comes at us are factors but they donāt excuse it.
