I meant the representatives. None have gone on the record yet. But word is they’re furious

Furious enough to do something -- anything -- to curtail presidential power crimes???

If not, then they aren't nearly furious enough yet. Clutching pearls is not an effective leadership style in any era. They are enablers who are benefiting from the status quo and have no reason to rock the boat.

They can’t be that furious, they enabled this whole thing. They passed the legislation which empowered Trump to unilaterally ignore congressionally passed sanctions. This was why many Democrats voted against the Lindsay Graham bill.

Only for show.

They all know the price for Putins "help" in the elections this cycle is much higher because their chances of winning is so much lower.

Putin has them all where he wants them and they are all willing to pay the inflated price. To not win means a chance at life in jail for some, they're all willing to sacrifice everything that isn't them for that not to happen.

Performative, they know their constituents are crippled by generational inbreeding and wouldn’t understand it anyway.

What happened?

Trump signed an executive order exempting Russia from the new sanctions Congress wrote into law. Additionally Trump/Putin announced a joint data center project.

Mind you, that same law that created the sanctions also gave Trump the power to do this in the first place. It’s why a lot of Democrats voted against it.

They're always furious, allegedly. But they're cowards, they never do anything.

I actually really want to hear a Republican defend this one. Because there is nothing. Absolutely f all that benefits the U.S. in this.

Not even Trump benefits

They are not. Stop lying to yourself. This is how they ended up in this situation.

You mean the people who said he learned his lesson when he was impeached for extorting Ukraine to the benefit of Russia?

I’ll believe it when republicans file articles of impeachment and get them through the house.

I've seen dumb takes from new accounts before but this is the dumbest take from the newest account I've ever seen.

Way to put the dogwhistle right up front at least?

Are you referring to OP or the comment to which you're responding?

OP is naive in that they think people will suddenly realize something that's been known since the 80s.

Pretty obvious that's not the dumbest take I've ever seen. Extrapolate from there.
