Last night Trump signed an executive order cancelling new sanctions on Russia. A bill that was literally named after Lindsey Graham.

It only benefits Russia. The bill even had new sanctions against Iran. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. The only person who benefits in this one is Putin. The games up. Russia have played their hand too hard and blown it

I think Putin’s just thrown out all pretence at subtlety because Trump is about to be less useful. Putin’s planning an all or nothing winter assault against Ukraine so it’s time to cash everything in. That’s the only way it makes sense to my stoned brain.

I hate conspiracy theories. And I’ve been pushing back against the Russian agent angle for a long time. I can’t just drop my “where’s the evidence?” Stance because it’s a conspiracy theory I like.

But…

Depends on what you mean by agent. What most people think of when you say Russian agent is largely in the realm of conspiracy theory. But Russian asset? Not a theory, just a fact.

just follow the money. he’s been selling real estate to Russia for more than double the properties value, then the big tell was when he said at a news conference before the 2016 election “Russia if you’re listenin…” asking a foreign power to interfere in the USA elections is quite treasonous. better late than never to realize whats been going on. he’s also the first president to have phone calls with Putin that he won’t allow others to monitor.
