Do we outnumber the conservatives who support their cult to the bitter end and own guns though?

Yes

Then why do conservatives control the executive, judicial and legislative branches of the federal government? Why would we let the far right wing 100% represent us if we outnumber them? Something doesn't add up.

It's likely because the cons cheated nearly each and every time, while accusing everyone else of doing so

And laziness. Something like 2/3rds of Americans didn't vote. Don't let them off the hook

Laziness... as well as anger, hopelessness, misinformation, disinformation, and all-round bad education. Just blaming laziness ignores a much larger underlying problem that has been a longstanding factor in this country that has reached critical mass relatively recent

I see your point, and respect it. My own was lacking as you pointed out.

It's typically 50-60% of the eligible voting population that votes in U.S. elections. To hold not voting against the millions of people under 18 in that 2/3 guesstimate is sort of disingenuous. We have a turnout problem, no need to add another 1/3 (who aren't eligible to vote).

Also, if Jill Stein voters in 2016 and 2024 had voted for Democrats, we wouldn't be in this position. They were only voting for themselves to brag about being above the two party system at cocktail parties while the country burns. I don't hate these people, but I strongly dislike the ones who've refused to learn from their mistake (as I did with throwing a vote away on Nader in 2004 out of my own hubris).
