Men killing their whole family because apparently divorce is scarier than prison or they're embarrassed they lost their job or savings ...some of the "more logical, less emotional" sex are SUPER emotional & irrational
Some of them genuinely believe that their wife and kids would not survive without him. They will âsufferâ without him (aka center of the universe) so he will end their suffering by killing them instead. Or sometimes you have those Mormons that believe in super heaven and canât enter that if youâre divorced. Death now = straight to super heaven, divorce and die later = still heaven, but like commercial class.
Family Annihilators are typically men, who--when faced with their significant other (S.O.) finally attempting to leave permanently--will attempt to kill their children, family members & friends who helped the leaving partner, and typically also the partner who is leaving.
Many times the Family Annihilator will also kill themselves, ot try to commit "suicide by cop."
And occasionally, these men will kill the kids, their S.O.'s loved ones, and then deliberately "merely harm" the woman who is leaving or who left, before he commits suicide--"So that she has to live with the pain" of losing it all to him.
They're selfish a-holes, who want vengeance, and to hurt as many people as possible with their actions.
Google Chris Watts. Not only did he kill his pregnant wife and two toddler daughters, he actually tried to frame his wife for harming the children then tried to use that as an excuse for killing her. He was already cheating on her and seemingly felt this was better than asking for a divorce.
I can see why you were confused as first because itâs so insane to imagine cases like this exist.
