So what you're saying is that men who are not a rapist have no part I'm fixing the issue and you're only asking men who are rapists to fix the issue? Men who aren't should just ignore the entire discourse?
And you think a random Reddit comment - that I have chosen not to engage with - is an example of me either condoning or turning a blind eye to rape culture IRL?
I downvoted the comment but I have no desire to further engage with that.
This is the problem of grouping people together based on characteristics rather than treating people as individuals.
They don't care about your lived experience or what you have to say. You said precisely one thing that they disagree with, even if they completely took it out of context, and you must be the problem and part of that other group.
And nowhere in that thread do you see any other problems? Or any issues with how common they were? Huh. Interesting. Since you aren't here in good faith, blocked.
Then answer the question. What do all the good men do to further help when theyâve already cut these red flags out? Every time Iâve tried to warn a woman of a bad person on a night out I just get laughed at or called names so that clearly doesnât work. Iâm not part of any group chats where woman are discussed as objects. But every time these discussions come up Iâm still told âwell youâre a man so it must be your faultâ.

Then obviously you have no reason to interrogate people and demand that they tell you how to shut down this behavior. Good god, donât be daft.
