I donât particularly think going, âThatâs not funny, I will choose not to associate with you,â is what women mean when they tell men to shut down rape behavior.
Certainly, your hostility and anger in this exchange is a good example of that. I wrote about social groups self selecting around this and you still wrote that I am ignoring and condoning rape culture solely on the basis of my masculinity.
Either you believe in some kind of gender essentialism where masculinity is sexual violence (in which case, I do consider TERFs and their ilk to be a hate group) or there are greater actions men can be taking other than not socializing with men who behave this way.
