What I find ironic is that with the latest school shooting they're all flocking to the fact that a father with a gun took the shooter out. I agree that the man is a hero, but the fact that if we had tighter gun laws in place the shooter's mother would never have been able to buy the gun for him that he used to commit the shooting in the first place needs to be part of the conversation.

The problem is, the pro-gun people say oh it’s too soon to talk about that issue. Thoughts and prayers and stuff like that.
This is a bad situation that could have been much worse, but it is still REALLY BAD! I’ve already heard people on the news say, “thank goodness it was only four people who died.”
Meanwhile, four families are destroyed beyond belief that their loved ones have been killed, because guns are so easily procured by angry raging hormone teens.
If Republicans, the family oriented party, really cared about the safety of children, why are they so opposed to preventing weapons from falling into the hands of mentally unstable people? Why are we continuing on this stupid needless path of tragedy?
It is already obvious that the pro-gun people did not rise up against our tyrannical government, they became part of it by joining ICE. The 2nd Amendment is a joke in today’s upside-down reality. There are more guns than people in this country. And the President is more concerned about a made-up nonissue issue. Schools are not where trans surgeries are done, but where children are killed.
Wake up, Trump, and remove your head from your ass. You know that trans surgeries are not happening in schools, and yet you tell this stupid lie over and over again because you think it will get your dopey followers to vote Republican. Your fear tactics are not helping anybody. You are not helping anybody. Just be quiet.

The GOP is launching yet another party-wide campaign of lies. There is no school in the United States that changes your child's name or gender-identity. The GOP, once again, is trying to create a false issue two weeks before the election.
The truth is, the GOP has led us into massive debt, runaway inflation, high food prices, high fuel prices, and yet another pointless "forever war". They don't have solutions, they only create problems.

Do the people that believe schools are handing out sex changes even have children? At the start of every school year my kids bring home a mountain of paperwork I have to fill out. The school won't give them a bandage unless I've completed seventeen sheets of paperwork permitting it. Yet these people think schools are giving kids gender swaps without consulting parents? How out of touch with reality can someone be?
Oh, Republicans..., always terrified of imaginary things. "Oh no, the Democrats are making America Muslim!" even though only 1.1% of the entire country is Muslim, and definitely not the whole Democratic party. "Oh no, not the Sharia Law!" even though the only people ever mentioning Sharia Law are Republicans. I had Republican friends constantly preaching to me against the teachings of Karl Marx and against the Communist Manifesto, figuring out that they genuinely believed Democrats own and read the Communist Manifesto and wanted America to be communist, when the only people I ever actually heard mention Karl Marx or Communist Manifestos were Republicans.

The public education has been gutted funding wise, are the teachers paying out of pocket for these procedures? Teachers can barely afford rent.
