What I find ironic is that with the latest school shooting they're all flocking to the fact that a father with a gun took the shooter out. I agree that the man is a hero, but the fact that if we had tighter gun laws in place the shooter's mother would never have been able to buy the gun for him that he used to commit the shooting in the first place needs to be part of the conversation.
Yeah, they're positively giddy over it. Meanwhile several children are dead and now a man has to carry the trauma of shooting a child for the rest of his life.
