These are genuinely the best thing to happen to Earhart, it cheers me up for the day

seems like its between CompE and AerospaceE.

I'm a prospective student, and was wondering whether Purdue is walkable. Would you theoretically be able to walk from classes to libraries, labs, etc, or would you need a car/take public transport? If it is walkable, what is the maximum amount of time people usually take to walk from one place to another?

Thanks!

Dang, i always thought it was 20 - 30% range. What happened this year?

(new postgame write up now that it’s finally over)

honestly what is up with this team? the moment we actually have some hype and momentum on our side, we immediately shit the bed against a team we have no business losing to.

3rd and Kane needs to fucking go. he cannot be employed during this bye week

refs sucked hard but even then we didn’t play well enough to win

genuinely just pain all around

anywhere around campus to get raw oysters? I went to 10 different grocery stores and none of them had them. I went to D and R butcher and had to make a special order for them. Any place have them consistently? I am a big fan of fresh oysters and shell fish in general. I do like good clam chowder but I could do without. Ceviche is very good (shrimp, whitefish, salmon), but I am looking for oysters in particular at the moment.

we actually might be cursed.

I had the sticker on the side of a filing cabinet. I graduated in 2006.

Does anyone who works at the dining courts know what the recipe is that they use for fudge brownie crinkle cookies?? I've tried 3 different recipes and they still don't taste as good as what they make there😩😩

Why aren't as many libraries 24/7 anymore? Its been really hard for me as someone who needs a chill quiet area to be forced to study in louder areas, especially since quiet 24/7 spots get crowded quicker now. Any advice?

How did I drop a 63 😭
I genuinely thought I did fine.. the exam questions styles were very different from past exams, but i still didn’t think i did bad.
How did you guys study? I did past exams and thought i understand most things

Someone stole my roommates bike we are in the process of filling a police report if anyone sees it please contact me. thank you in advance ❤️

A C permit costs $100, and of all the days it lets you park in a C lot, half the time the lot is blocked off (which they don’t tell you when buying the permit). And if you happen to miss the emails that come from parking at ANY RANDOM schedule about the CONSTANTLY CHANGING parking rules, it’s $100 for a parking ticket?!?! Why stop there? Let’s making each parking ticket A MILLION DOLLARS. Then that money can be spent building many useful things EXCEPT FOR HOUSING AND PARKING.

I guess I’ll just spend the first 1 hour of every day looking through my emails to decipher the intricate map and parking rules for the day before I come to campus.

I know everyone knows parking is a pain here, just adding another voice to the parking sucks horde 🥲

Seeing positive things about Bowei Xi and Yuan Qu compared to the other two professors (Chong Gu and Lingsong Zhang). Was wondering if anyone has personal experience taking the class with either of them. Trying to see which of the two is better and has easier exams.

Also, how heavy is the workload, and how difficult are the exams?

I’ve bombed both exams and currently at a D, actually studied for 4+ hours a day the week leading up to exam 2 and I still bombed it. Grinded released exams as well as boilerexams, any advice??

Hi everyone. I'm a student applying and I wanna study Math with the CS Specilization. However, Commonapp only shows three majors. Math, Math-Applied, and Math-Statistics. The website says to enter any math major you need to apply for math and then specilize later. If I apply for apply math, can I not specilize in the CS option? Bit confused and would appreciate some help.

Looks like professors Bowei Xi, Chong Gu, Lingsong Zhang, and Yuan Qu are teaching STAT 511 next semester.

Is there anything fun going on for Halloween?

hi im currently a high school senior. im interested in environmental engineering, but im not sure about the differences between the three different majors: environmental and natural resources engineering, environmental and ecological engineering, or civil engineering with a specialty in environmental. im interested in stuff related to water resources and remediation if that helps. thank you!
